Drove 20 minutes into town. Carters Restaurant is closed. Figured we would try Tidwell's because is has to be basically the same, right? 30 minute wait in-line at Tidwell's to be told that they are out of white meat fried chicken when we get to the window at 11:30 a.m. on a Monday. Fried Chicken is in the name and they were out of it. Amazing.
Plenty of parking for trailers and great food very inexpensive.
Best Hamburger you can find in Douglas!
