The staff was very nice, helpful,and friendly. We first sat in the outside patio section, but I got cold and asked to move inside. We were able to sit in the upstairs enclosed area. We were the only ones in there. It was nice to have a private dining experience. I enjoyed the appetizers more than the main meal. I will be back to give more info on the food and drink, but I wanted to give some information while it's on my mind.Parking: Parking in the front is tight.

The small menu was fine but to be out of grits when you only had a few items on the menu to be out of grits (Shrimp and Grits) was kind of bad. Otherwise no other complaints.

We chose Gabe's Downtown as our catering service for our wedding and it was INCREDIBLE!! Tami took care of every single detail and they made the most amazing food (including bar services) for our special day... guests were still raving about the food almost two weeks later! We would absolutely choose Gabe's again for any catering service or special event. We also went for dinner one night because we were craving the appetizers we chose for our wedding and had an entire meal which was incredible! Thank you, Gabe's Downtown!
