So glad that Gabe’s is back in Villa rica!! The new place looks great. The food is so good as well. It’s nice to have a place that you can eat a nice meal close by. We have been back 3 times now and enjoyed it all 3 times but I have noticed a septic smell happening. Not major but just enough that you notice it. Not sure if it’s the old building or what.
We are so glad that they moved back to villa Rica! The wait on a busy Saturday night was only 35 minutes. The service by our waiter, Gabe, was exceptional. He was very attentive, prompt and the kitchen was fast.
Gabe's Downtown offers fantastic, well-seasoned food with generous portions in a fun atmosphere. The creole cuisine is made with New Orleans love, and the drinks often reflect a NOLA spirit, though some may be overpriced. The bread pudding dessert is out of this world good, and the crème anglaise is a must-try. The service is top-notch, with servers like Gabe providing attentive and efficient service. The new location in Villa Rica is appreciated, and although the building has a slight septic smell, it does not affect the overall experience. While prices can be high, especially for drinks like wine, many find the quality and atmosphere worth it. The restaurant offers a great place to enjoy local flavors over chains, with occasional wine dinners available.
