STARR Food Lounge

I have always enjoyed visiting Starr! I used to come almost every weekend until they closed and replaced my favorite Starr girls. The music and ambiance are fantastic. However, I had to deduct a star because the overall service was lacking. It took an hour and a half to receive my salmon salad, another hour and a half to get my drink, and my partner never received his drink at all. The servers seemed more focused on dancing and having a good time than attending to guests. The previous Starr girls managed to balance fun and efficiency, ensuring drinks arrived within 10 minutes. Despite this, I still love the place.

I ordered a cat fish plate and all it came with was 1 very small pieces of catfish on white bread. I asked for hush puppies instead of fries and only received 3 hush puppies. Before I ordered the hush puppies I asked if they were sweet or savory and I was told they were sweet . Upon receiving them and tasting them they were plain savory hush puppies . I will never revisit this place it is horrible unseasoned and serves small portions

BOGO daiquiri’s! Recently remodeled so great vibes! I haven’t tried any food yet but I’m on my way there to try the food drive I had such a great experience with their service and drinks :)

Ordered 3 meals the flavor was nice but the meal portions was very small. The salmon was missing the broccoli that was suppose to come with It and so was the Alfredo. The shrimp and grits was more grits and shrimp sprinkle lol. Flavor was really decent but please add more food. I could have ordered the same food from Apple bees and paid half the price and had double the portion. I’ll try again though because the flavor was good and they are open late night and the atmosphere was clean.

I came in yesterday. Ordered wings and mac n cheese. I also had a great time. Today, I took a chance and ordered the salmon ?. Great music and atmosphere. The manager is awesome as well.

Maaan! Went to Starr Lounge last night & the FOOD… AMAZING! Had the Jerk burger… AMAZING! Thought it was a bit pricey until I bit it…Totally understand the pricing!!! Worth every penny! There was a live drummer there playing with the DJ which sounded AWESOME, we danced like college students and we’re waaay past college age! Not a big crowd which was perfect! Super cute spot! My fishbowl was straight koolaid, zero liquor but the food made up for it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!

Salmon was delicious and a healthy portion of it and the drinks was good (I do wish they had a red cab or red blend but that’s more personally preference). The atmosphere was a vibe especially for a Thursday night. Dj, lights, football game, card games, hookah it’s a one stop shop for a weekday vibe.
