Holy Smokes BBQ was absolutely worth the stop. The brisket was tender and full of flavor, and the ribs fell right off the bone. Sides were just as good, especially the mac and cheese. It’s got that no-frills, hometown feel where the food speaks for itself. Staff was friendly and made us feel right at home. If you're anywhere near East Dublin, this place is a must. Just good, honest barbecue done right.
My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch date today on our travels to the VA for an appointment. It was our first time visiting Holy Smokes and we were greeted by a respectful young man when we arrived. We’ve eaten a lot of bbq over the years, and it takes some stellar Que to impress me…. This place has the goods! We tried some of the pork, brisket, chicken, and a few of the sides, everything we had was excellent. The brisket speaks for itself, I don’t want to spoil it...
Holy Smokes is amazing!! I’m originally from TX and can honestly say, this is the best brisket I have ever had! I’m so glad to know I can get it within 45 minutes of where I live now. Oh, and the sides are amazing, too!
