The food was fresh and inviting, and the Associate who took the order was courteous and pleasant. In addition, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and customers greeted and engaged in conversations. My mom and I went right before the lunch rush on 07/20/23. The dining room and order area was clean and the cashier was professional but not very friendly. Around the fountain drink area there seemed to be a lot of confusion with the paying customers. The location of the straws weas out of direct sight and could be overlooked in their location. Pieces of fish were wider than usual, but short. They tasted good. I love that this Capt D's keeps their condiment bar clean and stocked. I love jalapenos with my hushpuppies. Their pickles are great and I enjoy eating a slice with a bite of fish. They have lemons for your water or tea too. I'd of given a 5 if sides were bigger portions.
