A gem in every way! Delicious food. One of the best steaks I've had in a while. Waitress was great! Slaw needed some sugar. Hushpuppies were delicious! Loved the atmosphere! I love to find local places like this when traveling!

This place has been in business here for 30 years ..it is a old house .You have to go through a run down neighborhood to get to it..The food was served burnt it was cooked way to long..waited for almost an hour to get it...Waitress was unprofessional..Not worth the money spent here. Dang sure couldn't eat much.with the over cooked food!? They are only open 3 days for about ,4 hours..I will not be going back...My drink was spilled on table..and the Waitress came out with...

It's been awhile since I've been there so my critique might be a bit unfair. The place was packed for a Thursday afternoon which was a good sign. I'm sure the food is always great but mine wasn't. My wife's steak was great. I had the seafood platter and my shrimp, scallops and fish were really way overcooked. The fried oysters and deviled crab were pretty good and so were the cheese grits. Overall the meal was fine but not great because I really was expecting...
