This is the best Mexican Restaurant in Gwinnett county I been eating here since I was in middle now I’m a grown adult and still eating here. The food is great and the people that work here also. The price is affordable also too!

I've been going to this El Torero since 1992. Still my favorite Mexican restaurant. Consistently great food and service at a very reasonable price, for decades.

The restroom smelled like ammonia hopefully it was cleaning products. The food was not in any way good. Taco Bell would have been a better option.
Has always been my favorite Mexican restaurant ever since I was a kid! Food is always delicious, best cheese dip ever! Staff has always been fast and friendly!

Best Chili Rellenos I have had (sshhh!! they're not fried) - especially with the shredded beef stuffed inside - Delicious! ...and don't sleep on the Chimichangas - Also Delicious!
As a native Californian, I know what good Mexican food is supposed to taste like—and unfortunately, El Torero completely missed the mark on my recent visit.
My wife and I have dined here a few times before, but this time I made the mistake of ordering the pork tamale. What I received was a mushy, unrecognizable mess that looked and tasted more like cornmeal porridge with scattered bits of meat and fat. It was honestly disgusting—and even more disappointing that a server would bring something like that to the table without a second thought.
Still hungry and hoping to salvage the meal, I reluctantly ordered a chicken enchilada. What arrived was equally disappointing: a flour tortilla stuffed with bland, boiled chicken, drowned in a lifeless sauce. The refried beans were no better—more like a watery, flavorless bean soup.
It pains me to write such a harsh review, but we all know the feeling of looking forward to a good meal, only to walk away completely let down. After this fiasco, I won’t be returning to this location—or any of their others. They’ve lost our trust and our appetite. I am sorry I did not take photos but I kept my receipt.
Its not the most modern place but so far every thing I ate was delicious. Im not sure what I'm always ordering but the guys behind the counter are helpful. The special taco has been my favorite. The chicken soup is my 2nd runner up and a great price

Best food and good service
Always a good experience at El Torrero
Ate there and was sick to my stomach in a short time... and for the following 36 hours. (!?)
Walked in and before I could breathe was sat. Chips were crunchy. Food came out insanely fast, was way too cheap, and was way too good. I feel like a robber. I’m turning myself in. The quesadillas were very well portioned, the flavors were simple, clean, and effective. For the money I spent which was not much I am very pleased with my meal. 10/10 establishment.
Traditional Mexican food chip salsa and everything else you expect. Good food
