Harold's Chicken & Ice Bar

Visited this Gwinnett location a week after I had visited the Dekalb location because I wanted my son to taste those Chicken & Waffles. To my surprise the waffles were totally different. Still tasty, I just found it strange that they were so different. It took FOREVER-RRR to receive our food at lunch time and there was only one other table occupied. The waitress was very nice so that lessened my irritation. My son LOVED the C & W, so it ended up being a win. I’ll definitely go back but I’ll drive alllll the way to the Dekalb (Panola) location because it was a much better experience.

I can’t believe my experience here was so terrible. I used to love this place. But after the service and treatment I received yesterday, I will never return. My friend flew into town and I have been raving about this place. We go in and order our food and pay. We are waiting about an hour when we ask how much longer. My friend ordered a salad with an egg. They said bc we ordered the egg, it was taking so long. Also, it would be 4$ additional for the egg. We had already placed our order, paid and been waiting an hour. We were so hungry (my friend had traveled all day) so we said we would pay and wait for the food. Another hour later. We get the food. And there’s no egg. They then said it would be another 30 minutes for it. Ridiculous. We just took the order as it was and left. I am so embarrassed and so disappointed in this location. I know they’re a franchise so there’s no corporate office. I really wish there was. The way we were treated was unacceptable. And I hope this gets properly addressed.

Sabriya is an awesome bartender! She is so full of life and energy. She makes sure her guests are taken care of! This is a regular place for me and my friends. We have so much fun every time we come here.

The bartender Daejah is so dope!!! Very respectful! Cares about your drink choice and taste!! Good food! Great music!! Good vibes!! I was undecided on my drink and Daejah began to ask questions about what tastes I’m wanting and then made a few suggestions and described the different hints of tastes I wine experience. This is truly her passion!! Great drinks and great customer service!!!

I would like to leave a review for my amazing bartender I had for lunch today . I had a problem with my food , not only did Daejah fix the situation she apologized when she seen I was upset although it wasn’t her fault . I want to highlight her problem solving skills . She didn’t need a manager or help to move into action quickly .
I will be coming back to this location again because of her service ! Thanks for making my lunch amazing . Have a blessed day .

I went in to order a large catfish to-go and they told me it was $23. I was confused because I thought it should’ve been around $17—nothing online mentioned a gratuity fee for takeout. I don’t understand why I’m paying gratuity for someone just to press a button. If that’s the case, they need to be paid more hourly instead, because I can press the button myself.

When I asked about the price difference, the young lady caught an attitude, which made the situation worse. So I just canceled the order. I tried heading to Juicy Crab instead, but of course, it was closed. Smh.
