Harold's Chicken & Ice Bar

Being from Chicago it saddens me to write this. I will not be back to this location. The service sucks. The location is really run down and I spent $75 for food only to get it burned, tastes like old grease and the wings were smaller than my finger. This isn’t the first time I’ve been and the service was horrible however I thought well maybe they weren’t having a good day however coming back it was worse. I love Harold’s however this location has gone downhill.

My fish sammich came out on a hoggie roll with salad cheese on it but the fish itself was good

The experience was terrible. The waitress kept going MIA. When she did show up, I had to yell to get her attention because she was into her conversation with co-workers. The food was not good and Unseasoned (I was surprised) and I asked for a margarita. I don’t think they gave me tequila. It was disgusting (like Mad Dog 20 20 disgusting) Lastly, the women’s bathroom by the DJ door is not on the henge correctly and I was stuck. I had to getting a running start from the sink to use my whole body to get out. The door bust open and all the security was worried about was the light on my phone.

I went because I been hearing about it I asked For perch and got whitening and that was fine but it taste like it been sitting it had a bad like refrigerator after taste the wings was good and my waitress kept my change

I stopped here thinking this was the same Harold's we eat at in the Chicago area. Boy, was i wrong. Food here is average at best. On top of the inflated prices, they force customers to pay a 20% gratuity here. Never in my life have I heard of a restaurant "automatically" adding 20% tip to all orders. Usually, it's automatically applied to groups of 6+, not 3. Never coming back here.

I have been here multiple times and this time was by far the worst. The food was horrible no seasoning just nasty, my lemonade tasted like yuckkkk. I advised the waitress that it had a funny taste and asked for a bottle water. We received our checks and she charged me for the lemonade $4 and the bottled water $1.50 also we (3 ppl) were each charged gratuity as well. The waitress did not offer to not charge me for the lemonade. I literally took one sip and told her it did not taste good. I more than likely will not be returning which is bad because this is a convenient hang out spot to watch the games and enjoy the music. DJ was good tho!

The food is bland with minimal to no seasoning. The catfish has a weird texture to it. A party of 3 or more and they charge gratuity. I've never been charged for gratuity for such a small party. I won't be able to patron this place again. 2 outta 10

they serving burnt overcooked chicken at Duluth location,,,,,4th time I gave them a chance to get it right,,,,the reason why I go back is because I grew up eating this delicious chicken so I wanted to give them a chance after chance after chance and I have nothing but disappointment

The worst service in Gwinnett County. No one greeted me when I walked in the door. I had to go up to the staff and ask “Are you open”. I ordered fried whiting, it took 30 minutes and it had no seasoning. I should have went to Captain D’s. I will not be back or recommend. Maybe, it was because it was 3:15pm on a Tuesday. Charles P

Such a chill vibe with good music and fried food lol. The music is always a vibe. I went on a Saturday and it was epic! The seating room in the back with the bar turned in to a lounge/club, everyone was dancing and partying like we knew eachother. I love places like this because it’s a social experience, everyone in close proximity was friendly and welcoming. The drinks were a hit no miss. The food I got was fried shrimp and fries, you can’t go wrong with that for a quick bite if you enjoy fried foods. Oh and I took a picture next to Shannon Sharp lol 😉I’ll definitely go back.

Oh my goodness, the food is exceptional! The crispy coating on the lemon pepper chicken wings was absolutely delicious! The catfish was so good, too! Our service could've definitely been better bc she was more worried about her cell phone and kept going outside to take/ make calls. Please note that even though there were 3 ppl in our party (one did not order food), a 20% tip was included along with a cc fee of 3%. Without realizing this, I added an 18% tip, so the server that did a pretty bad job received $17 for it! We went on a Saturday night at 10ish pm, so the place was hopping and very, very loud with a bar atmosphere. Lots of tvs everywhere with football games on them all. I'm looking forward to going back for their lunch specials!
