I often go to a Korean restaurant in Duluth to eat Korean meat barbecue. I like that the restaurant atmosphere is not crowded. The accompanying side dishes are also good, and soybean paste stew and steamed egg are provided as a service. This time, the steamed egg custard had cheese in it, but I personally think the steamed egg custard without cheese tastes better. We ate seasoned ribs and were a little disappointed because the meat seemed thinner and sweeter than before, but we still enjoyed it. After the meal, I had cold noodles and bibim naengmyeon, and it was nice that there was a small size to eat after the meal, so I could eat it without leaving anything behind.

Health safety concern?: I recently visited Kang’s Kitchen and am sad to say that the experience was quite disappointing. As soon as we were seated, we noticed an ant crawling on the table. We initially didn’t want to make it a big deal, but then we noticed it was more than one. The ants were difficult to spot because they were tiny, and the table was gray with black speckles. But the closer we looked we realized this was a problem. We considered moving to the next table but quickly noticed ants there as well. We let our server know and they seated us in a different location. They sprayed the problem area but who knows if this really solved the underlying issue in regard to the cleanliness of the entire restaurant — especially the kitchen. In the moment, we didn’t want to create a big scene so we ended up eating there but thinking back we should’ve just left the restaurant.
On a side note, the meat was comparable to other Korean Bbq restaurants but our server was not well-trained. I asked him to tell us which cut of meat we were eating as he served each one, since this should be basic knowledge for anyone working there. However, he did not seem confident at all. At one point he mumbled, “Uhh…. This one is from a cow.” I wish I could say he was joking, but he was being serious. Overall, even though the atmosphere is cool and we were looking forward to eating here, I don’t plan on coming back as there are plenty of other places to eat in the area.

The meat is good and the service is good.
I think the portion size for one person is a bit small.
Compared to other houses...
Maybe it's just me who feels that way...
I always eat raw ribs, but it seems to be a little thinner compared to other restaurants.

Omg, I love love love this place. Found it through recommendation, decided to try it with my friends. Alex grilled for us the entire time! The service is amazing, very clean and nice environment, not smoky like other kbbq place. I will definitely come back very soon. Btw the meat quality is top tier!! ???

Went for all you can eat kbbq, meat quality is good compared to other kbbq we've been to. Comes with adequate amount of banchan (unlimited).
Service is very good, grilling/serving and changing out grill plates/mesh accordingly.

Might be because it wasn't busy yet, but the staff was very attentive, and for the first time in a long time I didn't feel the need to do any cooking. Coal was added multiple times during our meal so you are definitely getting your money's worth in regards to service and the luxury? of the fuel. Meat quality is good. The short rib meat was very marbled.
Sides are good too. Extra personal points for the green onion sides. We had the all you can eat so not much specific I can comment on.

We stopped for lunch randomly, we were in the area and the reviews looked good. We opted for lunch combinations. Bulgogi with kimchi soup, and beef tartar bipimbop with beef soup. For the price of about $22 each, we feasted - the food was so good! Fresh, flavorful, seasoned well. The banchan was delicious and fresh and we ate it all. Even the soups were bright and savory and rich and spicy. I have never craved Korean food, but I can't wait to go back and try the bbq and everything else. Worth the traffic, worth the money, a definite must go place.
