It is not called Chef House. Delicious and authentic Chinese restaurant.
1. Scallops not fully cooked, inside is ice cold and taste bad.2. Absolutely not Beijing style duck as advertised, it taste way too sweet!3. 18% tips automatically charged after tax, for a family’s of 4
Pretty good Cantonese style food. The Peking ducks are delicious, vey crispy skin and tender meat.
Great Peking ducks.
I like the restaurant
The food was decent, nothing to ne excited about. But the service was god awful. We waited over 30 mins to be greeted by our waiter, another 20 to have water/tea delivered and tack on another 30 to have our order taken. Food came out 40 mins later and no one came to check on us afterwards. Over 2 hours of disappointment.
It was terrible and the owner it’s really weird
Now called Chef’s House – Peking Duck, a re-branding of Kung Fu Kitchen with same owner. I think the change happened July/ August of 2019. The décor is still the martial arts theme. We went there for lunch to celebrate someone’s recovery from illness so they went all out. We ordered their Peking Duck, Lobster, Fish and a few other vegetable dishes. All were good. The Peking duck was very good! The skin is thin and crispy while the meat is tender and juicy. After carving the duck, they used the rest of the duck to make a delectable soup from it! I’ve been in Atlanta for 11 years and this is the first time I had Peking duck here. Granted, I also didn’t go out seeking it either. I didn’t frequent Kung Fu Kitchen much so I don’t know what business was like. The business was brisk during my visit but another table also ordered Peking Duck.
My friend and I ate there Monday night July 16th. The food was good but the next day, my friend went to the hospital ER, was admitted, stayed until Friday. (E coli)
