Ordered avocado toast with over medium egg, waffle benedict, quiche, grilled sausage and potato patties. Quiche was amazing! The other ones were so-so.

I recently visited this place.
unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment.

My mom ordered the basil tomato soup, and I had the French onion soup. We also shared the basil pesto cream penne pasta. However, the food was overwhelmingly salty to the point where it was nearly inedible. The so-called “basil pesto” pasta had no trace of basil pesto whatsoever and felt like it was just reheated frozen pasta.

Despite the restaurant’s long history, the cleanliness was shocking—dirty floors, tables, and even the restroom. It was an unpleasant dining experience, and I have no desire to return.

I love French onion soup and always order it whenever I see it on a menu, but this was by far the worst I’ve ever had. Such a waste of money.

good value for price. I tried the Tomato Basil Soup, which was rich and comforting, and the Potato Galette, a crispy, cheesy French-style potato cake that was definitely my favorite. i like the cozy cottage vibe inside too. will comeback and try diff soup

Three out of the six plates they provided had visible lipstick stains that hadn’t been properly cleaned. It felt like they gave us extra plates so we could pick out the clean ones ourselves.

Additionally, some of the staff were very rude. One of our group members, who is from a non-English-speaking country, had trouble understanding something and asked for it to be repeated. However, instead of showing any consideration for foreign guests, one staff member mocked their colleague’s words in a joking manner and laughed. Is it normal for staff to openly ridicule customers like this?

Long line to make the order, the food was cold, got the wrong dish, never received the two cappuccinos we ordered with the breakfast even after asking twice for them. With such bad experience I asked for a refund for the coffees and for the tip which they take at the moment you order before you are even served, and they didn’t even give the right amount back so I payed and tipped for food I didn’t get and for a bad service.

The place was a mess—dirty dishes piled up on tables, and the furniture was outdated and in poor condition. This chain used to be great 20 years ago, but now it's a complete letdown every time I visit. I won’t be coming back.

This is one of my favorite casual sit-down restaurants, perfect for lunch, dinner, or afternoon treat. I love the mushroom pasta and a lot of the pastries. The fruit spread is also notable as the sweet tartness pairs perfectly with butter and baguette.

I miss the fruit tart that they used to have with a creamy custard filling and lots of fresh fruit.

I used to love this restaurant but over the last year or so it seems to have gone downhill. I keep going back hoping they will improve because i know how good it can be. But after today it will be a long while before I come back- at least to the Duluth location.

My bread was pretty much burnt and I don’t know what is going on with the Caesar dressing. It’s very very thick and looks more like mayo.

I’ve been craving a sandwich from here for so long , just to get my appetite ruined by watching a Hispanic mid-heavy set woman preparing my food with no gloves all the way in the back.

I have ordered numerous meals from this establishment. I always trie to give the benefit of doubt before I share dissapointment. The last french dip I recived was burnt to a crisp and was missing side items. The last breakfast I ordered I puked after eating it. Also thowing the sides of this order all on top of the eggs. By the way I never get the sliced tomato with the breakfast and I never get their potato galette that I would order as a side or if it came with it. Point being we all pay good money to eat at places like this and this is by far one of the most inconsistant and poor quality foods I have ever ordered. If you don't like to work in a kitchen go lay sod or something, don't make other people suffer because you obviously don't like being a cook.

I have ordered an extensive amount of food over time and have given this restaraunt many chances to be like that first time and sadly they have never lived up to any expectations or even fulfilling a simple line cook order failing daily to hit their marks on assuring all the food is in a customers order. Please learn from my experience and make sure your food is prepared the way you polietly ask and all of your order is given to you since you so kindly paid the additonal $5 to $10 extra add on. The past two months they missed half of the sides and served slop.
