“Just off of pleasant hill on Breckinridge, you’ll find the gem that is Damasco. Duluth has tons of food options, covering pretty much every ethnicity and niche, so I was a bit stuck today with decision paralysis. Then, I saw Damasco and thought “this is close and I don’t have to deal with Pleasant hill.”

I got their lunch special, a chicken shawarma and kofta sandwich. After the first bite, I knew that out of all the restaurants I could have picked in the general area, I made the best choice possible.

Food is fresh, tastes amazing, priced very fairly, and you feel great afterwards. The restaurant is clean, beautiful, has good atmosphere, and great service. The bread was perfectly crispy, the meats were flavorful and juicy, and all the extra bits that go into the sandwich just elevates it to another level. Easily is gonna be my staple goto place for lunch!“

“Great options. Good was good. Service was quick. Went with a large group with various special dietary needs. We all found something. The menu was marked with vegan and gluten-free options. It was build your own delish dish! And the first time I tried Falafel. Cruncy savory yummy... definitely going again!“

“I had a wonderful experience at this café! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful—very spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal. It’s quite large and can easily accommodate a big crowd without feeling crowded.

The food is also fantastic, especially if you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine. Everything was fresh and delicious.

“The great hospitality and customer service of the staff made us feel welcomed. The Lamb Shank was delicious and the atmosphere was inviting with great pictures of Afghanistan and a very clean restaurant. We will come here again.“

“Thoroughly enjoyed a romantic date night with my husband here. The flower cover entrance is absolutely beautiful. Perfect lighting throughout. Even the bathrooms are stunning. Drinks were on point, our server, David was awesome. And the food portions were big enough to share and take home. We loved it!“

“Our inaugural visit was last week (September 26). Upon entering, we were immediately and warmly greeted by Yusra. We explained it was our first visit, and she took time to explain the menu to us. The choices were plentiful, and it took a few minutes to decide. We all chose the Chicken Shawarma Plate with various sides. Each bite was more delicious than the previous. Once we ordered, our food was prepared fresh by Sam and delivered to our table. Our meals were delicious, plentiful and very good tasting. Yusra checked on us during our meal as she interacted with other guests. The prices were very reasonable, and we left with a promise that next time we are in Alpharetta, we will be back. “For the price ($15–$18), it’s an excellent place that serves good food. The protein options are great, and the hummus is tasty. If you’re ordering a hummus bowl, be mindful that they give a very generous portion of hummus. There is plenty of seating, but most tables accommodate up to four people, so it may not be a good dine-in option for a large group. Atmosphere is pretty casual!“

“Really enjoyed the experience here, food was amazing and delicious 😋, owners are very nice and friendly.
Lamb was cooked perfectly, along with everything else we ordered, chicken, beef, rice, all of it was juicy and seasoned to perfection.
Highly recommend this place to everyone both near and far. After wifey and i spoke with the owners because we had to tell them how hood the food was, we found out that we use to eat at there other spot in NY before they moved, what a small world, and what validation that good food is good food nomatter where you are.“
