You get a a very nice meal at a reasonable price. We also like that they take reservations and have their own large parking lot! Very few places in Sandy Springs have either! “Our inaugural visit was last week (September 26). Upon entering, we were immediately and warmly greeted by Yusra. We explained it was our first visit, and she took time to explain the menu to us. The choices were plentiful, and it took a few minutes to decide. We all chose the Chicken Shawarma Plate with various sides. Each bite was more delicious than the previous. Once we ordered, our food was prepared fresh by Sam and delivered to our table. Our meals were delicious, plentiful and very good tasting. Yusra checked on us during our meal as she interacted with other guests. The prices were very reasonable, and we left with a promise that next time we are in Alpharetta, we will be back. “Small simple restaurant that provides exactly what it says, and with that sauce it's a great combination. I recommend the mixed cause you get a lil meaty bite and a nice savory crunch with the falafel. I'd come here again since it's affordable and satisfying. I would not recommend the baklava though unless you're into denser desserts. As you can see by the picture, I enjoyed myself to the fullest“

“For the price ($15–$18), it’s an excellent place that serves good food. The protein options are great, and the hummus is tasty. If you’re ordering a hummus bowl, be mindful that they give a very generous portion of hummus. There is plenty of seating, but most tables accommodate up to four people, so it may not be a good dine-in option for a large group. Atmosphere is pretty casual!“

“Everything was great. This is a restaurant in a shopping center. Our visit was 3 weeks ago. We called the day prior inquiring about space for a group of around 30. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. There was ample seating, but understand that this is a small restaurant so it would be hard to seat more than 50 throughout the restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. This was a first for all in the group and it was a hit.“

“Hovan is hands down one of my favorite lunch spots in Atlanta. It never disappoints. Somehow they make a basic Greek salad stand out—I can’t explain it, but they do. The cauliflower is simple yet incredible. And their beef/lamb shawarma? That’s my go-to. It’s hard to order anything else.

What I love most is that it feels healthy without sacrificing flavor. Nothing deep-fried or greasy. just real, quality food done right.

The owner is the heart of the place. It’s rare to find spots where the adorable, grandpa like welcoming owner is still everyone’s favorite, but he is. Warm, always smiling, putting a little extra love into each plate. You can tell he genuinely cares about every customer who walks through the door.

10/10, easily one of the best lunch spots in the city. If I don’t have a specific craving, Hovan is my default.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​“

“First-time visit, and I’m already a fan! Cafe Sababa offers a cozy café-style ambiance with cool, laid-back vibes — perfect for enjoying a flavorful Mediterranean meal.

Upon walking in, you place your order at the register. If the team is in the back (as they were when I arrived), there’s a little bell to ring for assistance — a nice touch that keeps things flowing.

After browsing the menu, I went with the chicken platter, which came with creamy hummus, a fresh salad, and warm, soft pita bread. I also added a side of chickpea curry soup, and let me tell you — the portion was generous, served hot, and packed with flavor.

Everything tasted fresh, filling, and well-seasoned. The prices were more than fair, and to top it off, bottled water was just $0.50. That’s rare these days!

This family-style Mediterranean spot is a solid yes for me. I felt welcomed, comfortable, and left full and satisfied. Definitely adding Cafe Sababa to my go-to list.“

“This was my se,9’e time here but let me say. The food is SO fresh! My fiancee and were served by Sam, and he was so polite and professional. He weny above and beyond to give us 5 star service and i truly appreciate it. We got the lamb chops both times and it’s so juicy and succulent. Please don’t sleep on the sauce it comes with!!! Lather it into your lamb chops, it makes the world of difference. Both times my salad were SO fresh! I got the watermelon and feta salad as well as the cucumber salad, I forgot the cultural name but it was SO fresh and enjoyable. I came on a wednesday and it was 50% wine bottles and they actually had Sancerre! It was bright, fresh and gret. The vibes, music, atmosphere and service on the patio during sunset were perfect. I might actually love Atlanta after all, thanks to this place!!!!!!!!! I’ll be back again soon.“

“Randomly went to Toco Grill after my daughter's swim class. I've lived in Atlanta for five years and I must say..Toco Grill hands down makes the best burger in all of Atlanta (I've been to every hotspot recommended to me.) The staff was super friendly and I think I've finally found my to go to spot since leaving Brooklyn.“

“Pulled over because I was running errands during my lunch break. Best decision I made all day. I got the spicy lamb gyro and it was delicious, warm, and packed with a lot of meat. It wasn't even that spicy as I had to ask before ordering it spicy because I love spicy food but a lot of places over do it . The nice lady at the window told me it wasn't that spicy and I went for it, brought it back to work and devoured it. I got one for my coworker and I was about to eat his because it was SOOO good. A little far from where I work but definitely worth the drive.“

From the valet greeting us and being so kind and helpful, to the hostess, server, runners, bar staff....wow!!!!! It is very hard to go to a restaurant and find great staff everywhere you turn. Here you do! If you read any of my reviews....I am usually pretty detailed about my service experience. I think it makes or breaks the experience. Let's face it, dining out is expensive.....we have a choice where we spend our entertainment dollars. Chose Chelo! They will wow you! The food was also 5 stars. We dined on the falafel and cauliflower appetizers - both outstanding. I had the chicken kabab with saffron rice. Very very good as well. The rice will be in my thoughts for a while....so good!
