“The food is fantastic, I came here for the buffet, and everything felt like it was just made. The chicken Tika was so tender and so delicious. The butter masala was a banger.Would definitely come here again. It's family Style restaurant. There are tables and you just have to wait your turn for one to open, I believe it was around 20 ish per person.“
“Shalimar has consistently delicious indian/pakistani food that is prepared so well! I am Indian so I know my food. It isn’t soaking in grease and doesn’t leave you feeling disgusting and bloated afterward. The food is delicious! The naan is perfect, rice is fluffy, kebabs are cooked so perfectly and tender, and the curry dishes are prepped with a different flavor in each dish that complement beautifully. Most places just throw in different meat in the same sauce and send it out. You can tell they put love and thought into their food. The service is also top notch. The gentleman taking our order was great and made sure we left satisfied. As long as the quality stays this good and service is top notch, we will be back again and again!“
“Loved the food and the service was excellent. We traveled 45 minutes and IT WAS WORTH THE EFFORT AND EVERY PENNY! In mid 80s I managed an Indian restaurant in long island NY so I know a lil bit about the business. My bill was around $117 and I gave a $40 cash tip. I hope it does get split up amongst the employees who made the excellent food, served and helped clean up after. Thank you kabab hut. Your food/service was excellent.“
“This restaurant was very nice. I was nervous coming in here because I know nothing about Indian cuisine. At first it was a bit hard because I'm bad with accents but they were very patient with me. I got the lamb curry with egg at the very bottom of the menu and it was sweet and semi spicy. Delicious. My girlfriend got chicken something and tbh eh we're completely different flavors, but so good. We both got Mild slickness but it had a nice tolerable kick to it. We got to try something very similar to bread pudding, I'm sorry I don't know the name. It was delicious. We thought the waiter was gonna hate us for our lack of any knowledge but he was so nice and laughed with us. He wasn't at our table overbearingly but he seemed to come back at the perfect time, didn't rush us, we ordered a lot of food and I could've stayed there the whole day eating but I felt like we had a lot.“
“I love this place but have one very fond memory in particular. When I was a kid I was eating here with my brother and ordered a steak. With in the first 2 minutes I accidentally knocked it on the floor and without hesitation with in a split second the owner told me not to worry and gave me a burger for free. Which is ironic cuz I am now 25 and their bacon cheese burger is still my favorite item“
“Very friendly and pleasant service matched with a flavor that makes you feel warm. The atmosphere feels more fitting for summer with their matching rolled ice cream shop offering but community seating is begging for a family gathering. Mind the tile floors on a rainy day though.“
“The best desi food nearby -- hidden gem is their buffet! I have been here at least 5 times -- always only for the lunch buffet on Sundays, and the food never ceases to disappoint. The price per person tends to fluctuate, but usually it is between $15-17 per person for the buffet. There are so many halal meat options for the price! Their tandoori, chicken malai botua, naan, puri, and nihari at the buffet were always delicious -- it all tasted like my mom's home-cooked food. Their Sunday brunch menu hasn't changed every time I have gone, and they should keep it this way. The halwa was not my favorite, but my husband liked it. If you can go for the Sunday buffet, that's the best deal, and their food is consistently delicious!“
“The Food and the hospitality at Naan and Curry is top notch. We were party of 25 and the restaurant did an amazing job with the table set up. Food wait time was fast given the size of the group and the chicken kabob wrap was delicious. Highly “
