Quality wise could be improved but I think this place is more for those who just want to grab an inexpensive bite. Decent side dishes, but no meat or fish. I think that they were on saltier side but the taste overall was good. Black rice rather than white rice if you are picky about what kind of rice restaurant serves. Lunch combo is very good deal! Soup and Meat dish for 9 dollars. I don't think many other Korean places sell food this cheap. Kind of quiet. No servers in watch so don't feel like my part was well attended. But I didn't come here for service anyways. I will probably recommend if you are craving Korean food and around the area. Can't really call this place a matjip unfortunately. I highly doubt I'll come back here alone. Maybe with a friend who likes there.

It's been a hot minute since I've been this this restaurant, but I've been finding myself coming here more and more often. I don't know about before, but this restaurant is run by and elderly couple (service maybe a smidge slow, but good none the less). They have some really good lunch and dinner specials. Soups are tasty and on the cheaper side. Side dishes are plentiful and good. My favorite is the gamjatang (pork bone and potato stew) and sullantang. Lunch/dinner specials are like $8.99-12.99, and you get to choose a soup/stew plus a meat/fish dish and side dishes! Great deal. Closed on Sunday, may or may not experience slow service.

I suppose the food was decent, but with so many good Korean places around here, you prob shouldn't go here. There was kind of a generally unclean smell as we walked in, kind of like a mopping with old water. The spoons were dirty. The server (prob also the owner) seemed put out by requests for water and rice and extra bowls and utensils, which was curious because we were the only customers for dinner on a Friday night. I'm glad we tried it--their soups were good and inexpensive, but not sure if we'll be back anytime soon.

If you are not a Korean, they don't care about you. My wife and I sat down at 11:30 before several other guests. The waitress saw us and asked us something in Korean which we don't understand. We replied with English and she went to next table directly. Later she came back and placed our order. Until 12:30, we still have nothing on our table but all the other Korean guest who came after us already started to eat. Walked away without giving a fxxk

Friendly workers. I got the hot stone bowl that was sizzling hot until I was finished eating. The restaurant is also clean.
