We are going there tonight again for the 4th time. The food is delicious, the service is a little slow, the value is fair. The portion is πŸ‘. No MSG, No fillers. We are addicted to their food 😁

The food is always good but the wait time is ridiculous. I called my food in an was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, only to wait and hour plus. I don't play about my time. This is the second time this has happened.

Food is delicious. I really enjoyed the egusi with talapia and fufu. However, the service is SLOOOOOOW. I placed a pickup order an hour before I went to pick it up since it took a long time to receive my previous order. The pickup order still was not ready when I arrived. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my order.

Poor customer service.
I ordered suya today and it tasted so bad that I couldn’t even eat it. Since this was the second time that I noticed that I decided to inform the store manager. All I got on the phone was 2 people trying to argue with me about my complaint.
I feel really disappointed.
No respect to the people.
Good luck.

This seems like it must be a fun place with life music at night but we went for lunch so I can only speak about the incredibly tasty food!!! I tried the pepper goat with coconut rice and fried sweet plantains and it was amazing, if you enjoy spicy and really flavorful dishes this is for r you, I know I love it, we also had the Egusi soup (is very earthly stew made with ground melon seeds, leafy vegetables, and various meats and fish) we accompanied that wit Fufu (a starchy ball of dough made with casava), incredible, we really enjoyed.

I tried to wait a few visits overtime before I review a restaurant… This past Friday was my third time ordering. I normally get the jerk chicken and jollof rice… The first two times it was delicious… This was my first time having African jerk, chicken, and I was definitely pleased with the taste, texture, and variety of spices used. The rice was also very, very tasty. I do not usually eat African food, so these were welcomed difference in terms of spice and their interpretation of a dish I have all the time (Jamaican jerk chicken). This past Friday, I decided to switch it up and order the oxtail, suya chicken, and egusi…I also wanted to try to pepper sauce/gravy. The gentleman that usually takes my order, I believe is the owner… He is always very friendly and patient and makes recommendations according to what you tell him you like. My only criticism is that the oxtail could have been a bit meatier. It was my first time having egusi And I found it to be absolutely delicious over the jollof rice… Just as the owner told me it would be. Next time I will jump all the way in and order the pounded yam with it. The pepper sauce was delicious as well… But just as he also advised, it was VERY SPICY. Still, I’d still order that small cup or two again…because I like spice but must be able to control how much of it have. The flavors were so unique and like nothing I have ever had. I’ll be ordering this week for lunch! Thanks for bringing this delicious food and friendly service to Northlake!

Disgusting attitude up front. I understand it gets busy but that doesn’t mean you should treat bad or scream at them. From walking in , ordering my food , checking to see if it was ready, and pick up was an horrible experience!
