1.5 hrs, never got our food, tacos. Tacos, really? Nobody had the courage to tell us they were behind in the kitchen. Ridiculous. This is not on the servers, this is on management. No tacos in 1.5 hrs? Just the worst experience

Sometimes little wonderful surprises just happen. Headed to a show at Gas South, stopped in for dinner. Yummy food, great drinks, super fun, friendly regulars, and an amazing bar/waitstaff. They were busy, a wee bit understaffed- and they could not have made us feel more welcome. Give it a go! I swear- you will not regret it. Try the Pnut Butter tequilla. We’ll be back- and we’ll bring friends. Thanks guys!

The food is very tasty. It’s mainly a bar, so not very family friendly. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and the service was just ok. But, overall I would recommend Taqueria 52 for the great food for sure.

Over all, the atmosphere of the place was cute and warm, but unfortunately the service kind of ruined the entire experience. Our waitress came once to take our drink and appetizers and never came back. We then got another waitress as our first one sat at the host stand on her phone laughing with other coworkers. The tacos weren’t what I expected at all as well. The huge chunks of white onions and little flavor in all of the tacos was very disappointing . Guacamole had no flavor, no salt, no lime, just mashed avocados with chunks of white onion and jalapeños. Would’ve been better if the staff was nicer and made us feel welcomed. Playlist was really the only great thing there.

Stopped by for lunch as a 1st timer. 3 tables already seated with food. We (me and my husband) were seated and given menus. About 3 minutes later we were given waters by the hostess. 1 guy was the server and bartender (I assume). He walks to each table checking in, taking them togo orders, closing out their check. Never greeting us and he had to walk past our table. Someone walks in and sits at the bar. He goes to the bar, gets him water. We assume he is coming back out to finally great us. We are about 10 minutes in at this point. He checks on 2 of the same tables, goes back to the bar and starts a conversation with that guest never acknowledging us. This was horrible service because they were pretty slow and they don't ever have to worry about us trying them again. Now, I'm not sure if the "hostess" was supposed to be our waitress, but either way, they need to do better!!

Everything about this food and experience was mediocre at best. I feel like the owner/management is cheap with ingredients and paying their staff. Everything was bland and slow.

I didn’t take any pics but the place is so clean and spacious. The neighborhood is delightful. The bartender/owner was absolutely on point with the conversation and I wanted my tacos a specific way and he delivered to my liking! I’ll definitely be back??

Just awful experience. We tried twice and the same thing happened. We order food and they bring out one persons food and the others doesn’t come for over 10 minutes. First time thought it might have just been an error. Second time I complained and the excuse I got was “we are working on getting better “! Asked for manager and the server said there not one here. I said who’s is I. Charge…she said me. Never again

I visited this place today after watching some videos and seeing pictures that looked really good, but the experience didn’t live up to my expectations. The dishes are very small, especially the tacos, which are tiny compared to what you’d imagine. If you’re really hungry, this is not the place for you. Honestly, it feels more like a spot to grab drinks, but not a place to enjoy a proper meal. If you’re looking to satisfy your hunger, I’d recommend going somewhere else.

I’m unsure what happened between the first time visiting and this time but it makes me sad. The first time I visited here It was a pleasant experience literally everything 10/10; from food, service, to drinks. This time around for Thursday 50% off ladies nights is indeed 30% off ladies night. When that was brought to attention it was “oh the price is still pretty decent huh?” Which is dismissive to my initial question. The guacamole was old, brown looking & so was the corn (esquires). I understand mishaps , believe me I do but each complaint was met with disregard & unfortunately this was probably my last time here.

My wife and I were seated and given menus. After about three minutes, the hostess brought us water. She didn't ask us if we wanted any other beverage. Just put the water on the table without saying a word and walked away. There was one guy who seemed to be handling both serving and bartending duties. He walked past our table several times, checking on other tables, taking to-go orders, and closing out checks, but never acknowledged us.
Another customer came in and sat at the bar. The server went over, got him water, and we thought he would finally come to greet us. By this time, we had been waiting for about ten minutes. Instead, he checked on the same two tables again, went back to the bar, and started chatting with the new guest, still ignoring us.
The service was awful, especially considering they weren't busy. We won't be returning. I'm not sure if the hostess was supposed to be our waitress, but either way, they need to improve their service. That was a terrible first experience. It will be the last one.

My go to spot Taqueria in Gwinnett! They have Taco Tuesday specials and happy hour, 4-6pm. They make an awesome mean margarita that comes with the giant block of ice, so your margs don't get watered down. It's located in a cute little complex. Taqueria52 also has outdoor seating, high tops, and plenty of bar and table seating as well. The place is a mix of Mexican and Korean flair, so your taste buds will explode. The tacos are super tasty and always satisfying. They also have TVs as well. I highly recommend coming here. The vibe definitely feels like a midtown bar :).
