We made a reservation for dinner before a concert at gas south arena. The cocktails were amazing. I had the filet and husband had the ribeye. He said his ribeye was one of the best he'd ever had at a restaurant (he usually grills ours). The filet was cooked a bit too much. I didn't send it back because flavor wise it was good but I ordered medium and there was no pink at all so it was more medium well. The lobster Mac and cheese was good, but I was hoping for bigger chunks of lobster instead of smaller pieces throughout. All in all we enjoyed it and our waitress (who was also the bartender) was on it
The worst service I have ever had. I don't know if they were short staffed but all around not a good experience and will not be back. We came as a party of 6, drinks not ever refilled saw the server a total of 4 times for our 2 hour long dinner, wasn't sat with silverware, all ordered steaks and didn't get steak knives, brought drinks we didn't ordered and charged us for them, weren't brought condiments when asked for even from the manager. I would have expected much higher quality service from both server and manager for having a $200 bill. Will not return. Manager non apologetic for our experience literally laughed like it is funny. Ma'am, Would you find all of it funny, I think not.
Patty is absolutely amazing! Our first experience at UJMH! Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere. Food was A+! Highly recommend!

Changed the menu and took off the rueban sandwich I always order. Probably won't go very often now. Cuban was OK but very dry. Think the forgot the mustard or something. Waiter was great.
I dined at this location 4-5 times but due to a busy schedule, I often choose to go! Especially the Thursday special fried chicken and Burger is my favorite for dinner! Today, the to go was extremely disappointing. The added protein of Applewood Bacon and braised pork was missing and then barely a handful of fries added! Not sure if there are different cooks for dine in and to go, but the execution came short! If you charge, what you charge (and I don’t mind paying it) then you MUST be on point. It warrants for no excuse! Update 9/18. Management reached out to listen to my concern and offered replacement! This was very courteous and caring! The food is very tasty! Thank you Uncle Jack’s MH!

Everything was great, my only complaint is they don’t take “room keys” for payment. 🤣🤣 #whoops #sleeptoken #smttt
But for real, loved it! Check it out.

I love Uncle Jack’s because the food and drinks are always high quality, and the staff is extremely friendly.
I was a regular at the Peachtree Corners location because of Patty, the greatest bartender turned friend! If you ever get the chance, I recommend sitting at the bar, and ordering an espresso martini or cosmo from Patty! She’s the best, and really makes Uncle Jack’s what it is! 10/10 highly recommend!

Great food, great service with Gloria. Lively crowd but not overly noisy. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Dining at Meat House on Sugarloaf was an experience that far exceeded expectations, blending warm hospitality with elevated steakhouse precision. We arrived around 5 p.m. to a quiet dining room, greeted by our attentive server, Chelsea, who set the tone for the evening with her genuine care and seamless service.
Atmosphere & Drinks
The room felt inviting polished yet relaxed, not stuffy and the bar program was immediately impressive. The MH Mule was perfectly balanced with ginger bite and citrus lift, while my sister’s Berry Spritz was refreshing, bright, and beautifully presented.
Starters
We began with the New Zealand Lollipop Lamb Chops, an appetizer that could easily stand as an entrée. Cooked to a perfect medium with a deep char, the meat carried smoky richness while still holding delicate tenderness. The Dijon mustard drizzle and horseradish cream added both tang and spice, cutting through the lamb’s richness while enhancing its savory character.
Main Courses
I chose the Choice Boneless Ribeye (16 oz., wet-aged 40 days). The steak was everything a ribeye should be: deeply marbled, generously seasoned, and grilled to a flawless medium. Each bite released a burst of buttery beef flavor that rivaled and, in my opinion, surpassed similar cuts I’ve enjoyed at Ruth’s Chris.
For sides, the Five Cheese Mac & Cheese was indulgent without being heavy silky cheese pull balanced by a golden breadcrumb crust for texture. The Shredded Brussels Sprouts, accented with Thai seasoning, smoky bacon, and a whisper of brown sugar, offered a vibrant sweet-savory contrast that elevated a classic steakhouse vegetable into something truly memorable.
Across the table, my sister enjoyed a Signature Salad that was crisp, generous, and well dressed, while my brother’s Honey Bourbon Short Ribs paired with fried onions and served with house-made meatballs were tender, rich, and layered with bourbon’s caramel warmth.
Desserts
The meal closed with desserts that showed the kitchen’s versatility beyond steak. The Walnut Lava Brownie with ice cream was molten decadence, the nutty crunch balancing the gooey chocolate center. My sister’s Banana Pudding Crunch, served over banana bread with wafers and cookie crumble, was Southern comfort in its most elevated form nostalgic yet refined.
Service & Value
From start to finish, the service team moved with grace and attentiveness, embodying a culture of hospitality that matched the quality of the food. Prices felt more than fair considering the craftsmanship, portion sizes, and overall execution.
Final Thoughts
Meat House on Sugarloaf is a modern American bar and grill that honors steakhouse traditions while infusing creativity into every plate. From its carefully aged USDA Prime cuts to inventive sides and polished cocktails, it reflects a kitchen and staff that take pride in the details.
This is a restaurant where both the casual diner and the seasoned steakhouse enthusiast will feel at home. In my view, it is setting a new standard in the area a 10/10 dining experience worth revisiting often

Amazing Service. Had the Best Smoked Old Fashioned ever! My meal was perfect and tasty. Please try the sweet potato fries. The best ever
This was our first time dining here, and we were impressed from the start. The hamburger was absolutely delicious, with the quality of the meat being a real standout. While the food was excellent, what truly elevated our visit was Preston. He made us feel completely comfortable, was knowledgeable, and patiently guided us through our first experience. The combination of great food and Preston’s exceptional service is exactly why we look forward to coming back.
Bella, was quick, knowledgeable and overall awesome! All the staff seemed nice and friendly. It was an awesome experience and the filet is the best I have ever had!!! Their house sauce is next level! Will be returning!!!
