Uncle zhus is inside an food court next to an Asian market, I ordered the seafood malatang because of the other reviews. The person I ordered from was nice and helpful. On a cold dreary day it hit the spot. It was ready in under 10 mins in a decorative bowl.it was nice and spicy and steaming hot. The rice I ordered with it was ok, but the hotpot was excellent.all the seafood and veggies were flavorful and the broth had a good amount of heat. I don't love deheading and peeling the shrimp but it feels more authentic that way

Finally stopped by the other day and had a bowl of spicy beef noodles. They suggested mild spice but I love heat so I went with regular spice (could have done extra spicy). Regular spice was a perfect amount of spice. Just a little tingle on the tongue and heat on the back of the throat. Hubs was so excited I didn't get to take a picture before he started chowing down. Broth was fatty yet clean and full of flavour. Noodles had that perfect bite and thickness to carry the delicious broth. Beef was tender. Will be back when time isn't an issue to try more on the menu. Food came out quick enough but we were trying to beat the traffic back home.

It's good place to eat. I come here often with my family or my friends. The place is nice and clean. Food is delicious, but rice is too hard and only once food is too salty. It's ok, all people make mistakes.

Man the best Chinese food in town period! Try their beef with mala sauce.. Amazingly fresh and delicious. My husband and I go there every weekend. It became our ritual!

Found legit Chinese dry pot in Atlanta. Add glass noodles to your order and it's perfection wish it was more of a restaurant instead of a food court and a selection of customizable mixes would be a good addition!

Great place to eat

This place is a bit of a drive from midtown but it has truly authentic Sichuan cuisine. I had the beef hotpot. So numbing and spicy with plenty of peppers and peppercorns. Be sure to add some vinegar on any beef dish. You also can never go wrong with the sliced pork belly, the fried cabbage(hot and sour cabbage) and the beef stomach hot pot. You want a true Sichuan experience this is the place to be.

Omg, a malatang spot in GA!! Moved from NYC a couple of months ago and have been craving some good mala ever since. Is this place the same as NY's Flushing or Chinatown spots? No. Does it hit the spot, however? Most definitely. Has that great chili oil flavor and heat, with plenty of different (non)meat/spice level options. Portions are huge and also comes with rice if you want it. Though I wish this malatang had more of the peppercorn/unique chinese spice flavorings I'm familiar with from previous experiences, I am 100% grateful this spot exists.

I've eaten here numerous times but just now realizing that I haven't leave them a review yet lol. This is szechuan dry hotpot ( and with soup) style so it's very spicy with the numbing peppers as the key ingredient. I usually get the beef dry hotpot and beef malatang with soup and a bowl of rice. Keep in my that their credit card minimum is $15 so if you're not planning to spend order much, please bring cash. Other than that, the food is delicious and SPICYYY.

One of my favorite weekend places. They have the right amount of spice and will kick it up to extra spicy if you ask. I'm a fan of the Chongqing Noodles. It's savory and filling. I also like that they make it extra hot on request. If you scrape the bottom of the bowl you get so much Sichuan peppercorn that it's crunchy like cereal. But cereal that makes your face go numb. A few times I forgot to ask for extra spicy and it was just ok. I'm demanding when it comes to my flavor preferences but any place that will go the extra spice is a winner in my book.

I love their hot pot! Workers are very friendly and the portion is big-I always bring leftover home. My favorite so far is beef maratang and Chong Qing style spicy noodle dish.
