Won Won took over Golden House on Pleasant Hill a long while ago, as others mentioned. The interior is nicely redone - spacious and brightly lit. I attended a Red Egg and Ginger party for a dear friend of mine's son. They separated the interior to accommodate the large party. Came here for a 10 course family dinner! I wish Royal China had food as good as Won Won. Fried sea bass and snow pea tips are delicious. The family came here to scope out a rehearsal dinner menu, but the restaurant doesn't reserve for parties more than 3 weeks in advance.
Visited this restaurant because it was recommend as a good place for authentic Chinese food. The restaurant is setup up where servers come around with carts of different dishes and you pick what you want. It’s then added to your bill. Being that we weren’t too familiar with Chinese food, it gave us the option to see the dishes before trying. The food was good and it was nice to try an assortment of dishes.
