Bad service. Try to sell half of a fried dough stick as $2.5… It is my third time to visit and just buy one 10 min ago, so I know what is the regular serving… What is going on during 10 mins? This time is quite disappointing… bad attitude. never go back, stay away from someone lying in front of you

I stopped by at around 2:30 this afternoon to buy some steamed buns, red bean paste buns, and soy milk. The total was $26. I gave two $20s for a total of $40. She also said she should give me $14. Unexpectedly, she only got $4 back, insisting that I gave her $20 and $10. There were obviously no $10 bills in my wallet, only some $20s and a $5. I needed to go back to work, and I didn't want to argue with her, so I just left. The loss of $10 was not much, but what opened my eyes was that these Chinese businessmen could ignore their own credit for $10, and it was amazing to me! Some time ago, a lot of ducks were stolen from the Pork Shop Roast Duck Restaurant when they were cutting them, and now they are being defrauded for only $10. No wonder some Chinese people sometimes complain about being discriminated against. Who caused it? ?Could the boss please come out and answer what's going on?

Food: Ate here few times for takeout. The menu is rather confusing even for native speaker like myself. If you must order I recommend the meat buns (baozi) and chive patty (jiucai hezi), I'd say the latter is much better. Don't bother with any of the cold dishes show on display. As you can see from the pictures that others have uploaded, look all that food crying for dryness. I once bought their pork liver cold dish and it was so dry and flavourless I still regret til today. Service: Standard food court service; I'd say they tailor to Chinese speaking customers more, but the usual pointy point gestures of "this" "that" "1,2,3" will defintely work. Ambiance: Standard food court enviroment, but I think Jusgo's food court is a lot cleaner though. Not bad.

I order the pigs, ears and tendon, and they are the best I've ever had. My husband and I are obsessed!

I never ate here before so I can't rate the food!!what I can tell you is that I came twice in the past few weeks to pick up food at another vendor and I witnessed some unsanitary behavior!! Let's start with the first time I'm picking up food and a man walks in with 2 Labradoodles they were cute I get it but the workers all came out from the back to pet dogs and nobody had on gloves and nobody washed their hands after the dogs left and they went rite back to handling the food I was like oh DAZAMM EWWW !! Second time like 10 days later same scenario except this time I look over to the man making dumplings and mind you it's a lot of dumplings piled on this table where 2 customers are eating and this dumpling maker man pulls out a tooth picker and starts digging in his teeth sitting rite in front of the pile of dumplings I was so grossed out I can imagine what goes on in that place on a daily basis .....

Amazing, tasty, homemade buns, dumplings, and appetizers reminds me of foods I had as a kid. This place is quite busy and sells out of many favorites early, like pork and cabbage buns. Zhang's BBQ Chicken is a misleading name, but it's a definite Must Try!

I'm also surprised there aren't more reviews because this place was popular before the pandemic. I went late instead of for breakfast or lunch which would have been more appropriate considering doughy items like chives box, green onion pancakes, and steamed baos. To my non-Chinese literate eyes, they seem to have narrowed their menu. Several freezers were full of homemade dumplings. Google Translate wemp.app/posts/0e41863c-… to get a better idea of their offerings. They charge like 10% for using credit or debit cards, so have cash, or money on a WeChat account (I saw a WeChat QR code). I asked for pork baos, and to my delight she had freshly steamed hot ones in the back. I think I paid $13 for 11 of them? (I didn't count until after I ate some) and it was worth it. Perfect texture and consistency!

Tried their fresh fried oil stick and soy milk. Super good. We got a box from the cold case (pig ear, beef tendon, etc. ) and frozen dumplings to try. Will update.

omg i can't believe this place has so few reviews!!! but i think it's a real gem :) my family usually goes to the xi'an restaurant when we stop by the baijia food court; however, this time, i was super craving pig ear salad and zhang's bbq chicken had pig ear salad + much more to choose from in their display case that we decided to change it up a bit!!! they serve their marinated meats by container, and although we got a "small" container for 12 bucks, it was absolutely stuffed to the PRIM with pig ear, tendon, and braised beef slices (probably like over a pound???). all of the meats had a pretty similar marinade that was super delicious and fragrant (mostly chili oil and delightfully salty and balanced), and once we brought it home, it tasted perfect with a splash of chinese black vinegar.BUT THE REAL STAR OF THE SHOW HERE IS THIS PLACE'S STEAMED BUNS. holy cow. first off, they're HUGE. like MASSIVE. each one probably clocks in at a pound, and you get five for 6 dollars. it's insane. also, don't expect your average fluffy mantou. these buns are delightfully dense (in a very good way!!) while still maintaining a fluffy and enjoyable texture. they're also made with a mix of corn flour and wheat flour so imagine the denser version of a mantou but the flavor of a freshly made white corn tortilla. it's like probably... my favorite bread ever and it's so satisfying and soaks up sauce like a CHAMP. these buns lasted my family of three a week in the fridge. we'd normally only need to split one bun per meal since they're just that huge!!! COULDN"T RECOMMEND MORE. i've literally never had a bun made like this before, and now i can't go back to the typical super sweet fluffy buns that taste good but aren't satiating. i'm still trying to work my head around how they managed to get this beautiful texture and flavor into this bun, but in the meantime, i'll be sure to stop by here anytime i get a carb craving :)
