Solo date night vibes at Mikata ✨ Spoiling myself with a little bit of everything tonight: started with a glass of Trivento Malbec, then dove into a Baked Salmon Roll and Snow crab Roll (both Marla’s picks – she did not disappoint!). The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully crafted. For the main, I went big with a Shrimp, Lobster, and Chicken Rice Hibachi – packed with all the smoky, savory goodness you could dream of.

To top it off, Marla brought me hot water with lemon and honey to make my own tea. The teapot? Adorably perfect. This is what I call a quality night of self-care!

My family and I can’t get enough of Mikata! From our first visit, we were hooked. The vibe, the amazing service, and of course, the food/drinks—everything is always spot-on. Brian, the owner, treats us like family every time, whether we’re eating in or grabbing takeout (which happens a lot!). Their lychee martini is out of this world and my family can’t get enough of the margarita roll and lemongrass roll along with all the hibachi options. Everything we’ve ever tried is just delicious. Deron is awesome too, making the whole experience feel super welcoming every time. We’re pretty picky about our sushi, but Mikata keeps us coming back not just for the flavors but for the whole experience. I’ve already brought friends, family, and coworkers here, and I’ll keep spreading the word—this place deserves to be packed every night!

Everything was lovely at Mikata! The fish was so fresh and delicious. It is evident that they really care about their food, from preparation to plating! Not only is the food good, but the ambiance is beautiful as well. Everyone was very attentive and kind! I’ll definitely be back! I really recommend the tuna takaki, baked salmon roll, and the rainbow roll! (I took a bite out of the salmon roll before photographing! Sorry it was too good)

It was a birthday celebration for my adult son, and his family. There was delicious food for all ages. The sushi rolls are amazing! And you really should try the cheesecake or the orange sherbet. This is a great foodies restaurant.

Overall 5/5: Great service, food, and drink!

Drinks 5/5: I had the Japanese Slipper, my company had the Red Sun and the Lycheetini. I tried a sip of all, they were amazing.

Food 5/5: We tried the Mikata Tower, Spicy Tuna Roll, as well the Hamachi Nigiri. All were amazing.

So fresh and beautifully prepared. We also ended the night with a wheat ale which tasted great and was adorably packaged.

Service 5/5: We sat at the bar and were taken great care of. The bartender had a nice flair and was extremely knowledgeable about the drinks.
He also made us a drink that was to be featured on the menu, a cucumber martini which was delicious.

Ambiance 5/5: The interior was very beautiful and minimalistic designed. Nice and elegant.
Would definitely recommend this place :) Can't wait to go back!

The food was delicious, but the service was so-so. The guy with the braids acted as if he was hard of hearing. He couldn't assist with recommendations. He was just basic, with no personality whatsoever! I recommend the restaurant minus him as a server.
