“People were nice and food was terrific. Apparently the server has only been there two weeks and she's super sweet. The Commander (espresso martini) was pretty much perfect. The fish and chips were really good, and was not a ridiculously large portion like many places. The baked cookie is something I will dream about tonight I think. It is Wednesday so not crowded. But there was a table next to ours that had to YELL their conversation so loudly it was painful. We will absolutely be back. But I will bring earplugs just in case“

“Wow what wel ran restaurant! On a Tuesday evening as I came around 6pm to go. As soon as I walk in I'm greeted by a wonderful host he was wearing glasses. As I'm waiting I can see these other young men moving with purpose working hard, I love it as I used to be in the hospitality industry. I can tell a great staff that works together, a mixed community however more older YT conservatives, some older Spanish. Decent crowd but it seems the older elderly folks love it. The food looks and taste amazing I got a burrito, as a San Diego native I appreciate this!“

Here's the breakdown: * #1 Pho Combo - 6/10 The broth was kinda bland that night. Usually, it hits, but this time? Meh. * Grilled Pork Plate - 9/10 Perfectly seasoned and grilled just right. Pair it with the pickled carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, and fish sauce? Absolute fire. * Combo Banh Mi - 6/10 Ehh, it was just okay. “Most reasonably priced tacos in the area in my opinion. Most are about $4, so you can eat here for like $15 or less. Love the fried chicken and Memphis tacos. The trio is always a must. Their cheese dip is so good. It’s thinner and a tiny bit spicy. Their chips are thin and crispy too. The employees are really nice and food comes out fast. House marg and frozen margs are both yummy. Beware of a reallyyyy long line on nice nights. We try to get there before 6 to try to avoid the long line.

Parking: Free parking lot but spots are tight and it fills up quick, even though there’s a lot of spots“

He swooped in and was just super sweet to me and his colleague. His small talk was top tier. I’m pregnant and so I decided to wait for my food in the car and instead of me coming inside when the food was ready Francisco (unprompted) ended up bringing the food out to my vehicle. Totally unexpected. What a nice young person.“

Kid-friendliness: When I came to pick up my take-out order, I brought my two young children in with me. The people running the place looked to be the owners. Quite sure it's an authentic family run place. There was a little boy behind the front counter playing with Easter eggs and eating his chocolate. When he saw my kids, without hesitation, he gave both of my kids and Easter egg with chocolate inside. If that's not kid friendly, I don't know what is....“
