Bar & Grill in Eatonton, GA

“I’ve visited The Tipsy Turtle several times, and it has become one of my favorite places to stop when I’m in Eatonton. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming—almost like Eatonton’s version of Cheers. The staff remembers returning guests, greets everyone warmly and makes it easy to feel like part of the local community.

On my most recent visit, I ordered the burger with onion rings. The burger was juicy, well-seasoned, cooked perfectly and generously sized. The onion rings were large, thick and crispy. I’ve also enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak and chicken fingers during previous visits, and the food has always been freshly prepared with quality ingredients.

There is seating at the bar, high-top tables and regular tables, making it comfortable for solo diners, couples, families and groups of friends. The special events and themed brunches add to the fun, although popular events can fill quickly.

The Tipsy Turtle is a friendly downtown gathering place with good food, welcoming service and genuine local character. It’s easy to understand why Eatonton residents affectionately call it “The Turtle.” I’ll definitely return.“
