“I visited around 11:09 AM, right at opening time. From the outside, the place looked closed, and when I went in, the staff didn’t seem very cheerful or energetic. As someone who’s soft-spoken and has social anxiety, it was a little hard to get their attention at first, but thankfully I didn’t have to repeat myself too much, and ordering was quick and easy.

I was torn between getting General Tso’s chicken and beef with broccoli. I prefer my General Tso’s on the spicier side, but when I asked if it was spicy, I didn’t get a clear answer. So I went with my safe choice—beef and broccoli—and I’m glad I did! The vegetables were fresh and still had a nice bite to them, not soggy, but full of flavor. The steak was decent, kind of gamey, so I’d give it a 6.8/10.

I ordered the lunch special but substituted the rice for lo mein (not sure what kind they gave me), and it ended up being the highlight of my meal! The noodles were flavorful and had a great consistency. Even with the substitution and a drink, my total came to under $15, which felt like a great deal.

Overall, the food was tasty and fresh, and I’d definitely come back again!! Next time I’ll try something new, maybe even the General Tso’s if I can get more info on the spice level!“

“I had the cheesesteak, Philly and onion rings the Philly needed salt which they told me they don’t add any to it but I can have packets and the onion rings were oily. When I came to pick up my order, I saw it in a bag ready to go, but had to get it myself, and they never thanked me or have a good day or anything.“

“This is the best bar on the southside. Manny is the best bartender in my opinion. He always acknowledges you when you come in and makes sure you have a good time. Nick and a few other staff also are good about stepping in to help out it make's your experience great. This bar gives you that home away from home vibe most of us in our 30s look for.“

“Went here last night for a birthday dinner, we waited like 20-30 mins on a table, cause we had a large group. I had to come to give a review to the server Anthony!!! OMG, some of the best service I have had in a long time!! Definitely a great worker, and knows how to handle a large group… All our food came out correct, and HOT!!! He made sure our table was clean as soon as we were done, and our cups stayed full! He did all this great service, while wearing an orthopedic boot. He deserves recognition, and so does the cooks… The food was GREAT!!

“Parking is a mess for dinner on a late Friday night but it was worth the hassle. We parked on the streets in the neighborhoods and got a drink at the bar before our reservation. The drinks were great and the space is nice! The food was DELICIOUS. I would 100% recommend starting with the fry bread with pepperoni butter. That is a must have and the Japanese sweet potatoes are hands down the best sweet potatoes I’ve ever had. The Duck + fig plate I had was delicious and I’m glad I have leftovers. The Vegan Goods were good but nothing to die over. And finally the matcha crème Brûlée was good!“

We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) “Seven ladies from Memphis went to Frost Bistro 4/5/2025 for dinner. The atmosphere was a vibe. The service was great! I took a picture with Rasheeda Frost! She is more beautiful in person!! She was kind and approachable! I love me some Rasheeda Frost!!! Our waister was Tyra. She was absolutely amazing! She suggested the sautéed brussels sprouts with my honey hot lamb chops. The sauteed brussels sprouts were a hit! My lamb chops were so moist and juicy! My food was delicious. I also had a wellness drink. It was perfect! Everybody enjoyed their food. The food was fye!! Nestled in a little strip of shops, Bakaris pizza joint was just what I was looking for! Very chill, laid back atmosphere with cozy couches/coffee table seating. I found the menu impressive… Pizza, Beyond Burgers, Wraps, Salads (and some yummy sounding sides that I didnt get to try). We got the Ultra Vegan Deluxe Pizza… it did NOT disappoint!! The crust was DELICIOUS!! Fun drink selection, very fair prices… cool atmosphere… friendly service…. I have a Vegan Peanut Butter Tart in my fridge waiting to be eaten and I can barely hold myself back! Lol… Also has a few meat items available (no beef/pork) if thats your thing. So good!
