Tried this place for the first time today. It is an order at the counter and fix your own drink kind of place, with your food brought to the table via a number you get when you pay after ordering. Friendly (newer) owner, original owner sold it to her back in April 2023. I had a Cuban omelet sandwich and it was very good. I recommend this place for something unique and also because I love small locally owned type places if they are friendly and have good food, and they have both!

Had a very nice lunch here. I enjoyed the grilled chicken plate. The cilantro lime sauce alone was worth the trip! Husband ate the Cuban sandwich. This is a great little hole in the wall, hidden treasure. I see why the ratings are so good. Nice folks and relaxed spot. We'll be back!

You can tell you will get good hearty food when the local law eats here too. Many of the patrons of this small family-run diner are locals who are warmly greeted - outsiders are also welcome. The food is fresh-cooked Latin, very tasty and good sized portions. A daily special is a big attraction, especially fish tacos on Friday. Good service, though since everything is fresh cooked, it may be a bit slow. Careful that you come to the right address - there was another Country Corner in the center of Ellijay no longer in business

Don’t let the small building next to a gas station fool you. I am a very picky eater, and the Black Bean Burger Wrap I ordered was phenomenal. Very quiet friendly atmosphere. I will definitely return. 5⭐️

Solid consistency in service & food quality. I’m a semi-regular, as I have a cabin here. Can’t say enough good. HOWEVER, you will clearly see that local regulars get even better service and attention. It does trouble me to see customers (locals) walk back in the kitchen & prep area to talk to Tony or other employees. Clearly a violation of the food code, and not a good business practice l, but it happens frequently. But the food is very, very good. Also, the website & Facebook do not always agree on details. But it is absolutely with stopping. Very good dinner when open.

Fantastic food, GREAT hot cider and hard cider. Fun place with dozens of very unusual craft beers. Not your standard menu. Loved it!

Friday morning 8:30 the line was to the door, local workers grabbing to go orders, we knew it had to be good. A great find, the Cuban breakfast with eggs, bacon, Cuban toast and cafe con leche was Delish! Will definitely keep on our list when visiting Ellijay!!

If you don't call it Tony's Country Corner Kitchen, Waze will send you to the wrong place :(. Our lunch was very tasty and the outdoor eating area was very pleasant. We will be back!

We had the French toast platter and the breakfast platter. Both were delicious! It’s next to a gas station, but don’t let that deceive you!

My husband and I always look for locally owned mom & pop places when we travel. Read really good reviews for this place so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did. First of all, like many reviews stated, it doesn't look like much from the outside but don't be fooled by the exterior. The locals know how good the food is here. It's tiny inside with a couple of booths, several high top tables for 2, some tables for 4. You order and pay at the counter. They bring your food. We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Cuban pork Tacos. Then we shared (1 of each). Both were delicious. The 2 tacos were a lot of food and we could have shared them and split a side. The reviews were raving about their deserts so I was disappointed that they didn't have any that day. We will be back.

Best Food in the Mountains We had the Cuban tacos and flavors on point. Great service. Big Portions. Talked with some of the locals who travel far to come. Excited to try breakfast or fish tacos on Friday.

Clean restaurant, friendly folks and quality food! What a gem in Ellijay! We will definitely be back when we come in the fall.
