Ellijay’s Little Italian- Street Food, Pizza, and Ice Cream Bar

Went in at 6 pm on a Saturday. They told us the food would be 35 minutes and we agreed to wait and originally ordered take out before a big enough table opened up so we told the cashier we wanted it there because it was 630 and the food was coming soon... we thought! We ordered appetizers, pizza, root beer floats, sodas, and tiramisu. Got every item at different times.

There was a large group that came in at 630 and sat down right after we did. They were getting their appetizers by 640! We flagged the lady down and told her we had been waiting-with children- for almost 40 minutes and haven't gotten anything. She came out with a tied bag of our appetizers that had been wrapped in plastic containers and confirmed that it was ours and had been ready for quite awhile but the cashier never told her it was changed to dine in. The cheesy bread that looked SO good at the next table was not at all the same as ours. We had wet soggy chewy cold breadsticks and only ate a few. It was so disappointing. And to top it off, they wrapped the hot item with the cold caprese salad so our cheese and tomatoes weren't even cold anymore. All of this food must have been sitting in this bag for a half hour on the counter, and nobody questioned it. The lady apologized and said they were short 2 people so we didn't even bother complaining. I'm just disappointed. We chose this place out of several while picking apples because of the reviews.

Top everything off! Our pizza didn't come out until right after 7. Like 7:02. So our appetizers would have sat there for 50 minutes getting more unpleasant, and they were OK with this happening to us. The pizza might have been better if I didn't already have a bad experience. I thought the crust and cheese were delicious, but I thought the sauce was thin and ketchupy.. kinda bland. As much as I felt sorry for them being short-handed, I will never go back, they knew the hot appetizer sat in a plastic container getting moist and warm and my cold appetizer getting room temp. They had time to fix it and chose to be OK with this. Hmm. My daughter loved the root beer float! And the sodas were self-service, thank goodness

Always great pizza. Was offered an ice cream sample while I waited for my pickup order. It wasn't just a small sample. It was a huge spoonful! Highly recommend pizza and the Jacked up Tennessee toffee ice cream. Delish!

Excellent traditional pizza. Just a few tables for seating. Plastic utensils. Unlimited soda. Seems more like a take out place. Odd pizza combos. Mushroom pizza had way too much garlic and cheese.

The food was great and sitting outside watching the street and people was a nice atmosphere. They made a custom dish when I requested something special and it was amazing. The service was also top tier, will be back

This is a great place to eat in the downtown Ellijay area. Calzones, flatbreads, pizza, ice cream, and more. Always delicious.

Finally, Ellijay has a spot with truly great pizza! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and inviting. Definitely a new favorite in town.

We stopped by today for lunch and the staff was so friendly to my daughters and I. The owner came out and chatted with us for a bit. She was so nice. It really made our first experience in Ellijay a memorable one.

I’m not a big pizza person. This was by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. Had the Balsamic Chicken pizza, so good. Visiting from Illinois

Staff couldn’t get an order put together accurately for anyone in there. People in front of us ordered ice cream they messed that up somehow then they messed our pizza order up. When we asked about it, they acted like it was our fault they messed it up. This place was a swing and a miss for me.

If you’re on the fence about it just do it! Fughedaboudit! The meatball and marinara with garlic bread was delicious. The owner invited us in. She gave us a sample of the caprese sandwich and it was enough to sell us on the place.
