Ellijay’s Little Italian- Street Food, Pizza, and Ice Cream Bar

The food and service was excellent! Paninis, pizza, and spaghetti’s were delicious!

We’ve passed this place for years, but it was recommended by some of the locals. It did not disappoint! How have we missed eating at this restaurant? I had the mushroom and cheese calzone. My wife had the pesto spaghetti. Huge portions and excellent taste. The calzone is undoubtedly in my top 3 that I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked with cheesy goodness. Don’t miss this one. Hands down the “Best Italian” in this area. We are HUGE fans.

I have loved this spot since it became Ellijay’s Little Italian. Unfortunately, things seem to have changed with the new ownership.
My kids and I timed our dinner tonight specifically to allow enough time to get ice cream after our meal nearby. We arrived 20 minutes before closing to find the staff feverishly closing up shop. It was unusually hot in the restaurant. Guests that arrived before us who were requesting to order food were turned away. All of the ice cream was covered with lids. It was all quite off putting.
We get it. You want you go home. But please don’t make the customers that arrive in adequate time before closing feel as though they are an inconvenience.
Despite feeling like our business isn’t valued, we ordered ice cream just to discover that multiple ice cream options were melted. Not just a little soft. Completely melted. Feeling rushed, and unable to see all of the options (the lids were on), my daughter chose one of the melted ice cream options since all of the flavors she had requested were melted. As we checked out, I questioned if I would need to pay for the melted ice cream. There was no acknowledgment or attempt to make it right. We paid full price and checked out as the staff loudly exclaimed they were ready to leave.

I took my teen granddaughter here for us to have dinner Friday night . We’ve eaten here before, with prior owner. My granddaughter ordered pesto spaghetti, I had pizza slice and a caprese salad. I specifically ask if the tomatoes were nice, and the mozzarella fresh, to which I got a resounding ‘yes’! The pesto spaghetti was dry and tasteless, the pizza was ok, and the tomatoes were awful, and the mozzarella was definitely not fresh (it was dry/rubbery). I told our server/cashier my granddaughter couldn’t eat her dinner ! No response ! Definitely not the same as it was !

Olivia was our server and she was fantastic. Our food came out quickly, even though they were very busy on a Friday night. It was our first time here for dinner and we will be back! Thanks Olivia!!

We had pizza, meatballs and a caprese panini and couldn’t be happier. Lots of great Italian sandwiches and all sorts of ice cream treats to enjoy! Highly recommend checking this place out, especially on busy weekends. Service was quick and kind.

Gluten free pizza is excellent. Craig was very kind and helpful! A must try restaurant in Ellijay!❤️

Thoughts this was going to be great with a 4.8 rating but so disappointed. Flies all around, pizza was all cheese, had to ask for silverware was given plastic forks had to ask for knives. And not cheap.
