While service can definitely make or break a place, flavor is key to a restaurant. Their service was kind and courteous and the atmosphere was nice (very good live music that wasn’t too loud). However, their food lacked flavor. We had the wicked shrimp appetizer (basically lightly battered sautéed shrimp), soup and the lamb vindaloo and the trout which was …just ok. The waitress said the vindaloo was spicy, but it wasn’t really even flavorful. Probably not on our list to give another try, especially for the price.

Our experience at Emily’s was nice! I went for my 20th birthday dinner. The service was a little slow, and although we had a 4 person reservation they only set the table for 2 and only brought more silverware when we had had our entrees for a few minutes and got their attention. The food was mainly good, but the skirt steak was a bit over charred. Overall, I would dine here again, but it wasn’t the upscale dining experience I was hoping for. Thank you!

Went for Sunday Brunch. Eggs Benedict was delicious, skillet potatoes yum, waitress was very sweet. Went right at 11 and there was no wait. Will be back!

Went to Emily’s for dinner and drinks…forgot to take photos of our burger & Salmon meals (which were both amazing) but got a pic of our shrimp appetizer. There was a country singer (Shaun Michael) doing live music upstairs by our table…which was also great. 10/10 would recommend checking this place out when you’re in Elijay.

We were seated at the last table on the second floor so I can't say much about the atmosphere of the place. Food was very good, though. We had the beef empanadas, the burger and the hummus with salmon and enjoyed all three.

We're on a mini hiking vacation & slipped into Emily's for dinner. Emily's is an older 2-story building converted into a restaurant. Some of the old brick walls have been preserved to retain an old-time feel. Our waiter was friendly & did a good job with us. I ordered the meatloaf & enjoyed its great flavor. The tomato chutney on the top of my meatloaf slice had great taste as well. It came with mashed potatoes & green beans that were very average. I also ordered a small side salad. Overall the food was very good, but the price was higher than I felt it should have been. The slice of meatloaf was $24, & the small side salad was $7. From my perspective, even allowing for crazy inflation, the meal still cost about 20% more than it should.

Reservation needed unless you want to sit upstairs in the bar area, there’s also outdoor seating I think. We had the tuna tartare, really good, the mussels were okay I wasn’t to keen on the curry. I’m more of a white wine, butter, and garlic muscle individual, but they were still good. We had also had the trout which was really good and the fish chips, really good as well. The oil and bread was also delicious. Atmosphere was nice and laid back a bit like a pub style.

Good food, good service. In Ellijay for a short weekend and found this little spot. Would eat here again!

I've only gotten the pleasure of eating at Emilys once, because I had trouble getting in they were too busy and hist was less than friendly. The one time i did get in the the food was better than average probably the best I've had since I've been in North Georgia. The prices are extremely expensive it's not a place I would go just for casual night it would have to be an anniversary a wedding part, I wouldn't take children there because it's just too too expensive. If you really want a good meal I highly recommend it

A high-end local dining experience. My wife and I ordered the tomahawk and shared it. It was more than enough to share (33 oz) and we both were extremely satisfied. Not only was the ageing (60 days) and the seasonings perfect, but the temperature was too and it was cooked perfectly. Our sides were asparagus and their in-house mashed potatoes. Our appetizer was the blue point oysters and they were quite fresh and delicious. We arrived for our reservation and did not wait more than 5 minutes before we were seated. The service was impeccable and the food was incredible.Parking can be tricky so make sure you arrive early for your reservation. Walk-Ins are not advised. This place stays very busy.If you find this review helpful, please click like below.

Super friendly owners and staff. Coursing was a bit off and rushed. The bar is quite good, but I'd highlight the various sausages/wurst on the menu. Owners are German and do a very good job with the meats and sauerkraut. Definitely worth a visit, but make reservations.

My husband and I found the review on here and it was a cute great ambiance and sat upstairs with a beautiful bar and absolutely delicious fine food! Our waiter Jake was very good as the you g lady can’t remember her babe but they all were helping one another. The tuna appetizer was excellent and we shared the salmon! Would definitely go back!!

Party of 4 for dinner. Seated right away. Staff was great from servers to the bartenders and most of all the amazing chef Cameron. Our food was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be making our way back to Emily's.

Awesome experience at this cute restaurant. My boyfriend and I got there at 9pm (which they close at 9:30), & we apologized for getting there close to closing. The staff assured us it was no problem, the manager even came over to the table to tell us not to rush & enjoy. We got the tuna tartare to start, & it was huge -- sooo much tuna, so we were really happy with the portion size. We each got the skirt steak for our meal which was absolutely to die for. It melted in your mouth, & it was perfectly cooked. They offer two sauces w/ this dish (chimichurri & hauncaina). The chimichurri was a little too limey but the second sauce was awesome. Highly recommend. We also got the sweet potatoes fries & Mac n cheese (one of the best macs I've ever had) as our sides which were also perfect! Can't recommend this restaurant enough. Thanks so much for an awesome meal & quick service.
