LONG WAIT , I sat down for a good 15 min got my miso soup to be told there is no sushi available due to no more rice. I think a sushi place with no rice shouldn’t be open or atleast have a sign out front. The atmosphere feels low light and sad not a good place to hangout for long. Definitely do not recommend

Food was delicious! Tried the gyoza, miso soup, edamame, braised pork rice bowl, sesame ribeye nigiri & the pacific roll. Thought the presentation of the food was well done. Gyoza was perfectly cooked and tasted fresh (vs frozen and then cooked). Braised pork rice bowl was perfection! What a flavor combo with whatever the sauce is in that bowl! The Pacific roll was light and fresh with the burst of citrus flavor from the thinly sliced lemon on top. Definitely coming back - a hidden gem I would say!

Service was mediocre at best, if I wanted any service I needed to go to the bar and ask. 1.5+ hour wait for food to come out, and then it was one dish every 15 to 20 minutes. Only 6 other tables while we were there and some of them walked out due to long wait. The food was good, but it shouldn't take over 2 hours to get all of our food. Would not recommend.

Never truly got to experience the sushi as we left after getting appetizers. Sushi chef was all by himself making the sushi and talking to customers as they entered and wanted tables. He seemed so stressed as he mentioned he had 3 tables already ordering sushi ahead of us. We got seated and decided to order appetizers first. Salad, egg drop soup and gyoza(pan fried). Saland and soup were just ok but the gyoza was burned. Shame on them letting it go out like that. Never did get sushi as the chef then started delivering sushi to the tables and the waitress and other employee just ignored us. They were also busy fixing the incorrect bill for a large table. Finally it got to the point we just added up our bill, left the money on the table and left. Maybe the sushi and this place is a perfect place on a weekday night, but on a Saturday night, be cautious or make sure you have plenty of patience. If you walk in and see the chef being frantic, you might consider other options.

My bestie and I were on a girl’s get away trip. We tried a couple of other restaurants in Ellijay but it was Friday night and there was a long wait. We came upon this little unassuming restaurant and decided to give them a try. We walked right in & were seated and brought chilled water in a large clear bottle. I had checked Trip Advisor and it had good reviews. We ordered and waited. I looked around and saw only two people operating the place. I had Crab Egg Drop Soup and Shrimp Dumplings. Delicious! My friend got the Beef Curry & Rice, spicier that she liked but she said it was very good. It was a very pleasant, quiet, uncrowded restaurant. Prices very reasonable and worth the wait. Would definitely go back and very much recommend.

Our server was amazing! She was knowledgeable about sake and the information about the sushi rolls made a difference in other places we've been. The sushi rolls were spot on and the quality was perfect. Thank you for an amazing experience!

In trying to be as objective and fair as possible, I have to say overall, it was mediocre. I felt terrible for the poor waitress, as she was alone on Saturday with NO help. Shame on the manager or owner for not planning better and ensuring adequate waitstaff. The restaurant was packed at 6:30 pm, and people were waiting with only one wait staff. She also had to make drinks/cocktails and run food. It was clearly way too much for one person, and you could tell she was at her wit's end. At one point I offered to jump behind the bar and make drinks for her figuring I could help make things a bit easier for her but she declined. The sushi itself was pretty pedestrian. Just basic rolls and a small selection of "fancy" rolls. Everything was fresh and presented nicely, but there could have been more variety of rolls offered. Also, the "fancy" rolls were a little on the meager side and not a lot of taste. A quick visit to a sushi place in Atlanta might be a good opportunity to expand the menu or offer some special rolls for a little more variety. A couple of other points...the wasabi had zero taste to it and looked like it was made from powder. I asked for low-sodium soy sauce, which I think was the regular soy sauce with water added. It was truly disgusting and not real low-sodium soy sauce. With a few tweaks, this could be a great place and will certainly fix a sushi craving as it's one of the only places in the area. We saw two different couples waiting at the door for a table who were never acknowledged and ended up leaving. The management really needs to work on efficiencies, having enough wait staff, and ensuring that all customers are greeted, seated, and served. Our dinner took more than 2 hours (for 2 people), and we wanted to order more sushi but knew it would be another hour or two before we got anything, so we left...hungry.

Grandpa was a bit concerned with getting sushi in the mountains of North Georgia. But his granddaughter insisted. What a delicious find. Yes, the sushi menu is limited especially for my family used to South Florida sushi menus, but everyone loved their choices. There were definitely some standard rolls, but we also chose "new to us" rolls that killed it. The Fuji Mountain was fantastic. The Pacific was delicious. I started with the seaweed salad. Pretty standard. My Spicy Tuna and Pacific rolls were outstanding. I had the Bartenders choice flight of sake and all 3 were enjoyable. My wife chose one to have herself and then I followed with a Sapporo Black. My 21 yr old had tried the Yuzu Drop and loved it. And yes, the granddaughter loved her choices and Grandpa was pleased.

Our server, Clare, was very informative and answered all our questions. She was very good...right on.For appetizers, we had the shrimp dumplings which were so delicious. And we also had the pork gyozas...the best!!I had a rainbow and a Paradise roll. My husband had the Chef's plate with sashimi. The fish was very fresh!! He also had a simple yellowtail roll. All of our food was some of the best food we've had at a sushi restaurant and we've been to a lot. It took us 40 minutes to get there but we'll be back. The food and the service was superb.

The food was ok but the price was awful. They charge for sauce you get. When you ask for sauce they bring you very very little. Would not recommend. $127 and left hungry.
