My bestie and I were on a girl’s get away trip. We tried a couple of other restaurants in Ellijay but it was Friday night and there was a long wait. We came upon this little unassuming restaurant and decided to give them a try. We walked right in & were seated and brought chilled water in a large clear bottle. Our server was amazing! She was knowledgeable about sake and the information about the sushi rolls made a difference in other places we've been. The sushi rolls were spot on and the quality was perfect. Thank you for an amazing experience!
Kasei Sushi and Sake is a hidden gem in Ellijay, offering delicious food with well-done presentation. The gyoza was perfectly cooked, and the braised pork rice bowl had a flavorful sauce. The Pacific roll was light and fresh with a burst of citrus flavor from thinly sliced lemon. Despite being a small restaurant with only two staff members, the service was excellent. The Crab Egg Drop Soup, Shrimp Dumplings, and Beef Curry & Rice were all delicious. The knowledgeable server made a difference with sake recommendations and sushi information. Overall, Kasei Sushi and Sake provides an amazing dining experience with spot-on sushi rolls and reasonable prices.
