Food and atmosphere were great, service was slow, took 30 minutes to receive food and no follow up from server between taking our order and getting the check. We ordered two burgers and they were fantastic!

Great place to grab lunch. Fresh food and a nice view. Pulled pork sandwich and fries were really good.
We had 4 beers at $6.50 each. $26 total. I put up $40 to pay the tab. She took the $40 and assumed the change was a tip. $14.00 I don’t think so. I ask her to correct this. She gave me $12 change and no receipt. So she took $2 extra tip from my change. I still tipped her $5 more. This is no way to run a business. We each had 2 beers at the bar, Saturday March 30th, 2024.

Honestly really surprised how awesome this place was. The service was great. All staff very friendly and made great recommendations. Food was excellent. We had the chicken Sandwich and Cesar salad. Kids burger and cheesecake and all were fantastic. Drinks were great as well. Definitely

We a great experience here for our first time. When we arrived we had to wait for outdoor seating because the weather was incredible and most other people also wanted to sit outside and enjoy the views.They have a great seating area while you wait for a table. After about 10 minutes we were seated at the high chairs. Our waitress was great and quickly took our order. The food was delicious and we got to meet the owner Matt. We will definitely come back again. Next time I want to try the roof top burger. I got chicken and mashed potatoes.Parking: Not to bad for a downtown.

What a gem! The Sweet & Spicy Mussels were outstanding! Make sure to ask for double bread to sop up all the juices. Great wine list also. And fantastic view over the entire town. Had the barramundi (limited time special) and the shrimp & grits. Both were fantastic. Be aware, they don't take reservations and this place was super popular. But worth every minute of the wait!

Cute restaurant with elevated southern plates. Server was super friendly, hostess not so much. My food was a little disappointing (I got the salmon)…but everyone else loved their picks. View of downtown Elijay and location can’t be beat. Great location for a date or family night. Kids menu was a hit with our littles (6 and 8).Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly—menu, high chairs, outside dining for the noisy ones. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring any age child here!Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator wasn’t working when we visited. Restaurant is up three flights of stairs.
I am a bartender and have worked in the service industry for 10 plus years, and this was one of my favorite outings I have had in quite a while. The food was delicious, the bartender Marly had great customer service, and the view was absolutely beautiful! Me and my mom had a great time and definitely will be back!

My family and I came in and we have never been to Ellijay before, but the Roof had been heavily recommended to us. Faith took care of us, and she was amazing! So friendly and funny, and she made wonderful recommendations. I got the meatloaf (because of Faith’s suggestion) and it was great! My sister got the Appalachian trout, my other sister got the mac and cheese, my father and mother got the smash burger, and my boyfriend got the BBQ sandwich. Everyone loved their food, oh and we got the fried green tomatoes which I thought were great. I have to say as much as I loved the food, Faith really made the experience amazing for us and I hope we get to come again soon!

My friends and I came to town the first weekend in March for a bachelorette trip and came to The Roof after a lot of recommendations. We were so pleased with our service, our server Selena was amazing. Super kind and attentive. She also took amazing photos of us. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and we cannot wait to come back. This was my 2nd time here and it was even better than the 1st. Our waitress was a doll and so friendly. I had a perfect burger, fries and cocktail. The view just tops it all off. It’s absolutely worth visiting if you’re in the area!
