We arrived around 3pm, they close at 4pm. We were able to seat ourselves as business that time of day is always alot slower. There was one server on and she came right over and got our drink order. Came up from Atlanta to check on our new home build, and decided to try a local breakfast place that wasn’t on the Square, for a change. This is a plain and old, but clean diner located in an extremely run-down shopping plaza. The service was friendly from the young lady who helped me at breakfast time. The breakfast was just fine. Somewhat of a hole on the wall. Located in an old strip mall. Seems popular with the older locals. Wife praised the hamburger & onion rings. Mother-in-law liked her ground sirloin. I had no complaints with the fried chicken, turnip greens, & green beans. Would not order the mac & cheese again - tasted like a knockoff of Kraft mac & cheese, but not as good. Overall, we'll go back.
