Somewhat of a hole on the wall. Located in an old strip mall. Seems popular with the older locals. Wife praised the hamburger & onion rings. Mother-in-law liked her ground sirloin. I had no complaints with the fried chicken, turnip greens, & green beans. Would not order the mac & cheese again - tasted like a knockoff of Kraft mac & cheese, but not as good. Overall, we'll go back.
Fantastic late lunch. Even though we were about an hour from closing, we were welcomed. We chose meat and 3 - with a dessert for one of the three! We both had fried chicken. It was a little tough, due to being cooked a while - but it was juicy and flavorful. Green beans were the best I have ever had in a restaurant. Seasoned, but not loaded in onions. Other vegetables we had was corn, baked beans, Mac & Cheese - all were good.

First visit, food good, big selection. But sweet tea leaves a lot to be desired, almost taste like instant from jar. Really shocked the bldg. doesn't have health code violations and safety, those ceiling tiles and ventilation unit looked 82 years old and customers and food exposed to that, concerning.
