I’ve been going to Doug’s Place since 1999. It’s even better now! The food is that awesome southern cooking. The recent renovation to the place looks great. The waitresses are friendly. The owner is very personable and hands on himself.
Got a chance to visit the original Doug's Place today in Emerson, Georgia for an upcoming article with Cartersville Living-Best Version Media. This place has lots of nostalgia for me as in my younger years, I used to come here often when I was working in the area. Great place and some good southern food. Place looks completely different now and place is beautiful for sure and they did a great job honoring the history through decor and pictures, etc. throughout the building...
We had Doug's place cater our family Chistmas dinner for a second year.
Everything was so delicious and fresh. When he brought it out it was hot as if they had just cooked it. We well be ordering from him next year because he does a fantastic job
