This experience was astronomically disappointing. The lady working there was very kind but the food was a negative 10. I absolutely LOVE German food, but this was the worst German food I have ever eaten. My husbands bratwurst was under cooked and flavorless and the mashed potatoes and gravy had no flavor whatsoever either. I got the goulash. The menu says they make their spätzle homemade but it WAS NOT. The spätzle tasted like they went out and bought the cheapest can of spätzle they could find and warmed it for way too long in the microwave. The “sirloin tips” were flavorless and way over cooked. We left the restaurant with full plates still sitting on the table. We will not be back. Augsburg Haus was a complete and total waste of $60.

Not a positive dining experience. Food was mediocre and did not seemed over cooked and not fresh. Wait staff appeared to not want to be there, no greeting, no friendly smiling faces and no appreciation for our patronage. Ordered side dishes left undelivered until reminded. Had to get and pay at the host station because our waitress never returned. So wanted this to be a nice dining experience but instead received an overpriced disappointment.

Had lunch with my husband Thursday and was told the food was prepared fresh daily. The schnitzel was a frozen piece of meat that was deep fried and tasteless. The gravy had a very odd taste. The overall experience was awful. This is certainly not authentic German food. I would not recommend this restaurant. Do not waste your money!!! Eat at Goolsbys next door instead.

My friend and I had lunch and really enjoyed the food! I highly recommend it. The portions were huge. Rachel was amazing! Don't forget to try the home made desserts.
Im a retired military soldier and once a month, 15-20 of my retired friends have lunch together. I recommended this restaurant, and was not not really pleased with the food. Particularly the potato soup....boiled shredded hash brown potato and onions. I am going to suggest this restaurant again, for I do enjoy a good schnitzel.

First time going to Augsburg Haus restaurant. As my wife and I walked into the restaurant the Hostess was asleep in a chair. She woke up and asked how many. My wife told her two and she stated for us to go and pick any table to sit. There were only one other couples and two guys in the restaurant at that time. It was 11:45 am lunch time. We sat down and the hostess brought us the menu. She was dressed with skin tight I mean skiing tight leggings and faded out “T” shirt. Her tight pants showed much of her body that you wouldn’t want to see while eating. She had no personality at all. The Schnitzel had no flavor. It had to be a frozen and just put in a deep fryer. The Gravy was plain and the pan fried potatoes were cold. Another employee came out from the kitchen in old shorts and T Shirt. No Establishment should have their employees wearing this kind of clothing when serving their customer. *** Warning** don’t waste your time and money going to this place to eat. I promise you will regret it.

The restaurant was about half full when we walked in and the server was running! Great service, good food! The gypsy schnitzel was fantastic! I tasted the schnitzel with the white mushroom gravy as well and thought it was delicious. When I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back!
