The restaurant was about half full when we walked in and the server was running! Great service, good food! The gypsy schnitzel was fantastic! I tasted the schnitzel with the white mushroom gravy as well and thought it was delicious. When I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back!

Delicious German food served by a wonderful staff. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often. The Augsburg special is my favorite and it’s always made perfectly. The sauerkraut is delicious and compliments the schnitzel perfectly. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Was disappointed with the food. German potato salad was cold and cucumber salad was tasteless. The gravy tasted funny also. The Cordon Bleu was decent. Not really authentic German food. We were in Germany last year for a month. We were disappointed in the food however my Husband said the Beer was good.

Recommend…We ate here months ago and the food was very good. We had the schnitzel with an over abundance of potatoes. The cucumber salad was not quite as tasty as it could have been, tasted more watery but still good. If you love German food try this place

First visit. The food was pretty good, especially after living in Germany for years. Not incredible but pretty good for Augusta. The service, however, was agonizingly terrible and ruined the entire experience. Many tables were seated and orders taken before we even got drinks, the server acted bothered by our presence then made eye contact with me and intentionally ignored me four times before we were about to walk out, never checked back or refilled water, wouldn't bring the check. It was painful. Too bad because we won't be returning.
The food was okay. Maybe it's just different taste buds but the sauerbraten was not that great. My wife couldn't finish it because the flavor was off. Meat tasted old, it definitely wasn't fresh.
My son did not eat his schnitzel. Again, flavor seemed off.
On a positive note, the beer was pretty good. If I came back, it would probably be for just appetizers and beer.

Just visited Augsburg for my first time though my girlfriend has been coming here for years. Everything was really good- we had the jagerschnitzel, cucumber salad, red cabbage and a hefeweizen. Can’t wait to go back!

It's my ABSOLUTE favorite German/Bavarian/Austrian style restaurant in the entire nation so far.... For the past 12+ years. The whole rest part about leaving Augusta was leaving this restaurant! I was just doing the road trip calculation to see if I can justify the drive and I moved to North East FL so...I CAN! See you soon! P.s. Enjoy the Jaeger schnitzel and red cabbage for me if you get there before I do. 🙏🏼

One of our favorite German restaurants, the food is authentic and delicious. Remember to bring cash as there is a 4% discount, only concern was front of house seemed understaffed.
