The staff is always nice, you are greeted when you come in, the cookies are always right, the store is clean, and even drive up is a breeze as you are greeted with a smile when picking up cookies. “I ordered for the first time today through DoorDash. It was a bit later jn the day and they were out of 2 of the cupcakes I had requested. Instead of just canceling them the sweet lady (I didn’t get her name) took time to call me to let me know and offered me to replace or just get a refund. So, I knew exactly what I wanted for my own birthday; the white-chocolate raspberry bundt cake. ~~~~~~~~ I wanted an actual cake. My options were the 8” that *serves 8* or the 10” that *serves 18* (serving #s from website, $10 difference) Wasn’t sure of the # of guests attending b/c this was a casual dinner at my dad’s house, RSVPs weren’t a thing. Figured it was better to have too much than not enough so I got the 10. 5 guests finished half the cake. We didn’t have huge servings either, maybe 2” slices each. ~~~~~~~~ BIGGEST let down was their “TOPS Malibu Sparkler Candles” at $4.50 each (for the smaller size). I purchased 2 star shaped, a #4 and a #0. Four candles, $18. On the website they are described as: “TOPS Malibu Sparkler Candles…add the finishing touch to any Bundt Cake...From the first flicker to the final wish, our candles transform your cake into a memorable centerpiece…Sparkler candles burn clean and leave no black smoke or residue behind.” My dad and one of my brothers each attempted to light the candles. Nothing happened. Then, after about 15 seconds of a regular lighter being held to one spot, the spot turned black. No signs of any kind of spark or flame. My dad decided to look at the packaging they came in. On the back, it says, “May take up to 50 seconds to ignite using a *BUTANE* lighter”. (This info is NOT on the website. No one said anything when I placed my order over the phone or when I picked up in person). Total bust. ~~~~~~~~ In summary, the cakes are fabulous, but ask lots of questions before you order, especially about the decorations/extras/add-ons.“

“Food is always excellent, but noticed one of the servers did not have her long hair pulled back/up and pulled shirt down as she was wearing gloves while fixing sandwich but flung her hair back with her hand because it was in the way while making sandwich. This should not be allowed while working in a food establishment. Keeping hair restrained is a part of good personal hygiene, ensuring a sanitary environment for food handling.“

“Cute cafe in the Summerville neighborhood of Augusta with delicious coffee, good food, and a cool vibe. Great place to bring out of town guests. I’m a bit of a coffee snob and Relic never disappoints! They also have a unique selection of bags of whole bean coffee (and I assume will ground upon request) and I’ve given the beans as gifts to fellow coffee snobs. It can take a bit to sometimes get your goods so be patient if so and enjoy the smells of fresh coffee.“

“My daughter recently moved to Augusta and we visited the La Bonbonniere. We took home several chocolates for family and friends that were enjoyed by all. We made plans to take a tour for the day after Thanksgiving and never would have guessed there was so much to making chocolate. “I do like Krogers on Washington Road in Augusta. I do not like their new delivery service. I paid $59 for a year. Kroger's is now using instacart instead of their own people. I was supposed to get my groceries between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.. now I am being told I won't get my groceries till 4:15 p.m.. I'm still waiting to find out if I do even get it. we're talking about $80 worth of groceries. I did find out that instacart is short on employees. Think twice before signing up for Boost delivery program. I'm sorry that I did.“
