My family enjoy going to Magnolia Lounge on Monday nights. The food and music is on point. The owners are hands on and the hospitality is amazing. We'll be back on March 18th to celebrate my birthday.

This is my go-to spot for Southern Soul Blues on the south side. They frequently have live performances from new and seasoned Southern Soul artist. I love love love the owners; they are so welcoming and just all-around wonderful people.
I was there 7/23/2023, and I had a ball. The owner, the bar tender, tand Mr Melvin son was such a joy. I drove all the way from Detroit, just to see for myself how wonder VJ Bubba Yae and Mr Melvin says this place was. And it’s all true. I will be back!

Yesterday was me and my boyfriend's first time visiting Magnolia Lounge, let me say this, we were shocked but in a good way! The bartender, Bussey, was very laid back and informed us on the options from food, drinks, all the way to booking a party and hosting football season. The drinks were a great price considering how strong they are! ? The lemon pepper wings and French fries hit the spot and I even met a few females who taught me a new dance slide. The entire set up is beautiful and the bathrooms were clean, which left a huge mark with me. We are already planning on returning next weekend. You can never judge a book by it's cover, because you wouldn't think much of it just by looking at it from the street. This is definitely the place for relaxation and classy grown folks type of fun!

Bar tenders need to be more knowledgeable regarding drinks. When asking for specialized drinks, you never get what you ask for. We simply had to do straight shots or beer.
