“My family and I experienced a wonderful dinner at Carabas on Washington Road in Augusta, GA this week. Not only was the food fantastic but so was our waiter, Kahleel. We can not say enough about how polite, attentitive and professional he was. He gave us the inpression that he enjoyed serving us. There are very, very few restaurant's in the area that have employees who have given us the service in which Kahleel did. My family and I would like his management to commend him on a job well done! Now, this is where I have a problem. Ive eaten at restaurants all over the world, I have adhered to many dress codes. A 600.00 Cowboy hat is part of a look that is acceptable in many fine dining restaurants all over the Country. To embarrass someone and tell someone to remove a hat, due to a poorly posted " No hat Policy " is ridiculous. Its not like a ratty, sweat band crusted Masters Baseball cap or similar. This is why I'll take our 300.00 + dollar dining elsewhere, not for lack of food but character.“

Be prepared for a messy sandwich, but that's a sign they cared more about quality than presentation. I'd take an overstuffed cheesesteak like this over a perfectly staged one any day. Highly recommended.“

I popped in on a Satuday morning about 9:45 and they had quite a full dining room and waiting area. Because I was alone, I was able to be seated at the counter immediately. I ordered hot tea and the #7 eggs over medium with grits; they were cooked quickly and perfectly. My waitress was very friendly and very busy--she did an excellent job. Prices are more than reasonable--I saw all stages of life there: kids with parents all the way up to the elderly.
If you are looking for a great breakfast/brunch/lunch spot friendly to families and affordable for your budget, you should give them some business.“

“I got a amazing bowl and a side order of gzoza. The bowl was made in front of me and was very quick. There are options for regular poké or spicy. The food tasted great and the sauces they add are delicious! The gzoza was nothing to write home about but nonetheless the sauce was needed for them. I would recommend to anybody wanting to try poké because they also have cooked bowls and other options! Would eat again!“

I liked the idea of the appetizer sampler where I got to try a variety and figure out which ones I liked, shrimp in a blanket and sweet potatoes. Their Duck Sweet & Sour was good too. I got to try curry and Thai tea as well. The curry was ordered with the lowest spicy level but was still very flavorful. However, the Thai tea was weak and mainly tasted like milk. You receive the check at the table but have to go up to the counter to pay at the end. The restaurant offers a military discount.“
