The only bar open late in downtown Gainesville. Stepped outside to find a friend and wouldn't allow me back inside. Apparently there's no re-entry after 1 and they don't announce it. Many people stuck outside because of a lack of communication from staff. $10 cover and no liquor. Enter at your own risk.
Big Daddy’s is open. They are working with Google to resolve this issue saying that the business is temporarily closed. Check out the social media and website for updates.
Good place to have fun.. they are currently open.. not sure why it say temporary closed.
Bring back 37 Main. The food and drinks were good and was nice place to hangout on Friday and Saturday nights with a nice crowd and music.
CLOSED! Randomly closed until further notice with no announcement anywhere- wouldn’t pick up the phone when we tried to call to see if they were open, nothing online says they’re closed. Waste of a trip out there, poor business practices yall
Really nice bar visually. Beer prices are outrageous and availability was low.
This place was a joke. Liquor "alternatives", in their drinks. They dont have a liquor license and serve B.S over priced drinks. And the food is awful. Frozen hamburgers, canned baked beans, and brown gravy from a jar. For 2 burgers and 4 beers was $80, what a rip off! Don't ever waste your money here!
I had really high hopes. Love the idea of a country bar that has line dancing. Went last night for the line dancing and celebrate my sisters birthday. Got there early so we could eat first. We kept being sent back and forth to tables to be seated. Took forever for someone to come take our drink order. Do NOT recommend any mixed drinks. Apparently they have “Alternatives” as their liquor has a licensing issue. It’s awful! Ordered a margarita and it tasted like mud water. I’ve never had mud water but I assume that is what it would taste like. Asked a different bartender to make them again and it wasn’t until then they we were informed of the “alternative” liquor. This should be told up front when someone orders a mixed drink or advertised on their site and charging people for that awful liquor. Or better yet not serve any liquor until you can get the real stuff. It was not worth the $19 we were charged for both drinks. The bartender was really nice though with trying to explain everything. Which is the only reason I am giving it a 2. We ordered food and it took over an hour to get it. We wound up leaving after we ate and went somewhere else. So disappointed. Hopefully it improves very quickly.
Nice try. Food is meh. Waitress was slow to get anything to the table and disappeared often. Needs a good cleaning…floors dirty, bathrooms icky, gnats everywhere. If something doesn’t change this place will be a dive on ‘Bar Rescue’ in a few years. Entertainment was great, a wonderful ‘honky tonk’ duo. During a break the DJ started playing pop country. Buzz kill on the honky tonk and the duo intentionally cut their time short….wouldn’t wanna interrupt ‘Old Town Road’ with some REAL country music. Won’t be back unless I’m coming to see the entertainment. Otherwise, just no.
Not happy! Did an Uber Eats order and they waited 30 minutes to cancel my order because they said they were too busy to take my order. Straight up if you don't have time to take my order get off Uber eats!

It wasn't crowded when we went on a Thursday night. They had $5 burgers and fried catfish bites and both were SO good!!! I would have rated it 5 stars if I liked country music but it was still a very nice atmosphere. They have karaoke and trivia on certain nights so it makes a fun date spot.
I thought I died and went to Nashville when I found this place. It was early on a Tuesday night, so not a lot going on, but the food was great and the service was even better. Cold, cold draft and the catfish nuggets were the best I've ever had.
The chicken was slimy and tasted old. No liquor license yet. The pool tables are not far enough from the wall to take a shot without jacking up. The staff were fantastic.
We went for trivia which was fun, but ended up waiting almost an hour and a half for our food. Staff was nice, just very understaffed. Food was alright.
Torn on only giving 4 stars - mostly we loved it! With some exceptions the food was really good; drinks very reasonable; the staff extremely nice! Free pool tables during happy hour!
