Johnny's New York Style Pizza

I have visited both the Gainesville and Flowery Branch locations over the last few weeks. The service has been very good and their pizza is very good and better than most others in the area. Highly recommend.

If I could give this place a zero star I would. Messed my order up twice first time I've ever been in this place. I asked for no mushrooms on my salad or my pizza both Pizza and Salad had mushrooms. I will never eat here again

It's Johnny's...do I need to say more?! Their food is always amazing. Their deals are great. The vibe is perfect for families or fun date nights. I wish there were one closer to Homer, but it's worth the trip every time.

The food was so amazing but the service is what really topped it off for us. Anna was our server and she carried such a kind and generous vibe! She helped us choose an appetizer and was always more than willing to assist our needs <3 need more people like her!

Most friendly staff, Melissa waited on us with a million dollar smile. Service tops. We ordered a sandwich not on the menu and Chase created a master piece! The perfectly toasted veggie sub with spinach and all the veggies to die for. Thank you!!!!! We ate it so fast wish I had a pic to share.

Well this was something. I ate here with my family last night and want to give a helpful review. We arrived on a Friday evening not packed but a decent size dinner crowd. Seated quickly. After that point we just sat. As we waited I always observe the environment. There were quite a few young waitresses. More than enough for the amount of customers. However, none of them had any interest in taking another table. We continued to wait and they just kept passing. Not a single one even made eye contact or looked in our direction. I told my wife it feels like college girls who need just enough money for make-up, phone bill, or party money. As if they were waiting to see if the other waitress was going to take us. Finally, I start waving my arms and calling out. Nothing! As if we were ghosts that couldn't be seen or heard. Finally, my wife grabs the menu and goes to the register to order where another challenge begins. Ordering drinks while pointing at the menu was like speaking a foreign language to these girls. You could see it in their eyes and faces that their minds were not there. Now, friday night and college girls I get it. Now while all this was happening the bartender saw it. He saved the night. He came over, apologized and quickly made things happen. I appreciated his acknowledgement. The food was actually good. The salads were fresh as well. The pizza doesn't outbeat everyone but it definitely contends. The environment was clean and an attractive setting. The retail parking spaces are confusing and walking up those steps could be challenging for some. But not things I would blame the restaurant for. The dazed and confused young waitresses bring the rating to a 3 star, but I give a star back for the bartender for 4 stars. I also know businesses across the country are hurting to find and hire people who want to work. It's rampant. If this was my business I would not waste my time hiring more of the same. In this case I would hire one person. Another bartender. I would take the current one and make him a floor supervisor to lead, guide, and assist these young girls and even step behind the bar with a new bartender. I would also require a percent dividing of everyone's tips to him to cover what he would give up in tips to take the position and give the badly needed oversight. Those in the kitchen did well and the food reflected it. This restaurant should have no problem maintaining 5 stars at all times.

If you’re looking for GREAT pizza, wings, or desserts, with even better service, then you have found the place! Crystal behind the bar is amazing and great conversation. Overall a great atmosphere and a hidden gem on the Gainesville Square!
