Luna's Restaurant

We were visiting from SC and found this place. We were greeted by the owner and had a nice chat with him at our table. Our server (Natalie) was great and we had a nice chat with her as well. The food was great.

Family favorite of ours. Kenz is like family to us now. We always enjoy her company and the staff. Food is always fantastic. Our kids enjoy it too.

I was in town from Pennsylvania for work and decided to try Lunas for dinner and it was fantastic! I got their special for the night which was a wagyu ribeye steak and two sides, it was cooked perfectly, and the service was above and beyond expectations! The owner even came out to personally make sure I was happy with everything! Very highly recommend!

I was out of town for a work assignment and was looking for a place to grab lunch and decided to try lunas. Just to keep it light I got a French onion soup and a salad, I was absolutely blown away by the French onion soup as I am a soup fanatic and often like to think of my own soup I make as some of the best, but I will say lunas put my homemade French onion to shame. I was so impressed I came back several times during my stay in Gainesville.

We've visited Lunas last week and the food and atmosphere was great. Yes, Juan is gone and we miss him. Yes, there's a lot of new places downtown. But, Lunas is still a relaxing place to dine, meet friends, listen to some great music and just have a great time.

We were in town for the weekend, found Luna’s on Google, had a fantastic experience, we had the filet, which was absolutely awesome! Service was very attentive and professional, very nice atmosphere, very peaceful and intimate for a nice date night.. even met the new owner Darryl, I would highly recommend checking this place out!

I wanted to give my husband a 70th birthday party and had tried to book with another restaurant who would not return my calls. Two weeks before the date of the event I called into Luna’s and spoke with Chrissy. She booked it immediately and we picked out the food. She worked with me every step of the way. My husband was so surprised! Everyone who attended raved about the food and the service. Great job Luna’s!!

Wonderful place for a quiet dinner for 2. Light music is just enough for ambiance without overpowering the conversations. The service was outstanding, attentive, and very friendly. The food was outstanding, I had the trout, and my wife had the salmon. We had a lovely time, and we look forward to going back next time we are in the area.
