Service excellent. Friendly, attentive and informative. Food above average. But, atmosphere not what I expected for fine dinning. Well worn, could use refreshing .

I have to praise how great a “first date” it was at Luna’s last evening. We were greeted by the owner and he followed up two times to make sure we were enjoying our evening meal. Great atmosphere, great food, and wait staff. I can not over state how great of a place it is! We will be back!

We had lunch here, and it was excellent. We split the salmon entree, and it was more than enough for both of us. Shawn (Shaun?) was our waiter and provided outstanding service. We've been here for dinner about 6 months ago and it was equally good. Highly recommend Luna's. They have a dress code, but unfortunately it's not well enforced. We like to dress up for nice places, and having some schlub in shorts and a T-shirt somewhat detracts from the fine dining experience. Regardless, the overall environment, food, and service is great.

Lucas is a very nice place to dine in Gainesville. It's not a Mitchelin 5 star, but for this area, it's very nice

I recently attended a private party at Luna's. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a filet with the potato patty and subbed out the veggies for the mac and cheese. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I enjoyed my meal and the ambiance. The services was fabulous as well. We live in Loganville but plan to make the drive to Gainesville again very soon because the food and service were that good!

Had the most delicious salmon here Friday night. The time before their chicken marseille which is the best I’ve ever had! The lounge has great entertainment as well! The owner stops by each table to be sure all is good! Great service!

We were visiting from SC and found this place. We were greeted by the owner and had a nice chat with him at our table. Our server (Natalie) was great and we had a nice chat with her as well. The food was great.

After our Rock Creek/Wilshire Trails & Longwood Park walk, we were thrilled to have a delicious lunch, superb, attentive service at Luna’s on the Square in Gainesville, Ga. Beautiful, traditional decor - felt like we took a trip to Europe.

Our waiter was a little inexperienced and made a couple of trivial mistakes, but the food and atmosphere were excellent. I strongly recommended Luna's. We had a great time and plan on coming back.

Let me preface this by saying our waitress Mackenzie was amazing. However, the steaks we ordered came out overcooked, with one so bad we had to send back, sides were bland. Entrees overall were just kinda mid. Salad, bread, and deserts were decent though. Also throwing in the receipt as a photo since the owner replied claiming there was no record of us.
