So glad Scott's has reopened! We had a 5:45 reservation for dinner last night. The place looks fantastic! The salad and entrées were so incredibly delicious. The service was great as always. Love the ambience. The new bar looks nice and before dinner drinks were good too! Looking forward to going back.

I cannot begin to tell you how excited we are to have Scott's back open after the water damage!! We have gone twice now, and each time has been amazing. We tried several new things - vegetarian entrée, NY strip and Prime Rib - wow, just wow. On top of that, the old stand by of a risotto bowl had some fun new flavors. Scott really took advantage of his time off - making menu changes and updating the restaurant. We have welcomed all the changes - they are great!! Oh and I almost forgot - several new wine options are still forthcoming. Welcome back Scott and team. We are very happy!
Wasn't served, sat 30 mins only got water wasn't even acknowledged. Probably didn't meet elite status. Was set in side closet I call it, a little cubicle could barely see out of, may have been reason for non service. They did reach out to me anyway at least we got some service all be it the wrong kind.

Culinary greatness in a hometown/downtown feel, the food and atmosphere can’t be beat! From the candied bacon to the perfect ground steak and duck burger I can’t say enough great things! You can tell Scott truly cares about his community and a quality experience. Also the private nook style booths are a favorite of my wife’s and always will be ?

It was our first visit and we have already decided that we will return. We were seated in a cozy little alcove that made our evening very enjoyable. Service was excellent and the food was great.

I've been here in the past and had outstanding food and service. This visit, the service was disappointing and the food okay. Not sure if it was because Scott's had several larger parties (mine was one) and was busy or if the restaurant was short-staffed. Will I go back? Maybe but it likely be around a holiday.
It's always an amazing experience at Scott's! Our party was given a private room. The food and cocktails were delicious as always plus an incredible setting and service! We used the well lit parking garage right next door, so easy! We also love the Lounge for casual nights.

The food was excellent. We had the sea bass and filet medallions. The shredded brussel sprouts were great. There were three large holiday parties in adjacent rooms that made it a little noisy....but overall, a very fine meal. We'll do it again.

This was a great experience. The food was incredible and the service was quick. Our server Amanda was fantastic!! She didn't bother us to much but was always there when we needed her. Her recommendations about the menu was spot on!

We went to Scott's to celebrate my birthday. It was a wonderful place to go for a special evening. The service and food were excellent. I had a baked avocado stuffed with crab and shrimp; fried lobster tails and a delicious lemon/raspberry/champagne cocktail. The dessert was a peanut butter chocolate pie. We will be going back as we throughly enjoyed everything. Parking in the new parking lot is easy and a short walk to the restaurant.

Our party of 3 included my brother visiting from Wisconsin on a busy "Jingle Mingle" night in downtown Gainesville. Staffing was adequate to meet the needs of clientele. the bartender/mixologist made excellent Old Fashioned drink. We had Calamari appetizer, warm bacon dressing on our salad and entree of Sea Bass. An additional appetizer included a wonderfully prepared baked avocado. I highly recommend Scott's Restaurant as "special occasion" dining.
