Had a group of 6 Friday 10/4. Had to change the reservation twice due to group size changing and to start off with they were completely accommodating from the moment we walked in. It was service with a smile. The interior is what you would expect for a chophouse in town, but with extra fun hints of nature. The owner was extremely cordial and a true professional from the word go. Our server was extremely accommodating, went out of his way to make sure that he spoke to the kitchen about things that we may need or want to change because yes, we can be a real challenge at times and by we I mean I ? The food came out quickly. It was piping hot and extremely tasty. Wonderful touch at the end was the desserts! Probably one of the best Key lime pies I’ve had maybe with the exception of Joe Stone crab in Miami Beach, the crème brûlée was not overpowering with the sugar, and the chocolate cake, and I don’t really like chocolate that much, had a crunch which was unique and was delicious. The passion of Roland was obvious and the culture in the building was clearly something that has been thought through, discussed and curated over time. Bravo ? ? Team Stag, we will be back!!

Timothy, Emanuel and Lucas are the DREAM TEAM! The boys get it done. Service was impeccable, and the salmon entree was delicious. Let Timothy talk you into the creme brûlée. It was heavenly! This is my new favorite spot!

All stars. Super attention to detail. A crispy, tall stack of onion rings came with my BL Fried green Tomato sandwich. My friend had a beautiful burger, stacked high with ingredients, one of which was a beef pattyground in-house. The staff was memorable in the best way and the restroom was bright and fresh .

100/10 They have the best fries I’ve ever had. And the steak sandwich ooooohhhh. It’s so awesome. Idk why it has an overall 4.5 star rating, this place is 5 stars 100%. Will definitely eat here again in the future. And the staff is so friendly.

So disappointed. Unfortunately the culinary execution was not there at all. We had for the appetizer Sweet Thai Chili Wings they were so soggy almost undercooked. We also had
Shrimp Pasta. It was the wrong pasta. It wasn’t gemelli pasta. They used penne pasta Instead. It was so extremely heavy with the sauce, it was more like a soup. The side of broccolini was over salted to the point we had to send it back. And it wasn’t off the bill. The two steaks the Quality wasn’t the best. It’s very disappointing to pay $244 for the experience. We had higher expectations of this restaurant too bad.

Great appetizers but our varied entrees were pretty bland for the price (filet, strip and risotto).

Mediocre at best. Filet was consistency of roast beef - lots of gristle and fat.

Not great as far as the quality of the meat/burgers. Every burger came out well done although ordered some medium rare. Essentially this is a bar joint. Limited lunch menu. Service was good.

Enjoyed eating here. I was able to ask for recommendations on wine and food and the server was happy to help.

Great place in Gainesville Square. Classic dark wood decor. Fries were hot and crispy, Caesar salad was very good. Beef sandwich was good and the burger is amazing. The desert of ice cream and cookie was really good.
Parking: Free parking garage 1 block over. Street parking is free but difficult to find

Great little spot on the square with loads of atmosphere. Food was good and service was friendly. Even the music made one feel happy. Had the cheeseburger, steak sandwich, and Caesar salad. They do close at 2pm.

I'll get right to the point. Service was good. I had a ribeye, I asked for it medium but I got it rare. Which I don't mind to much. But it lacked flavor. It seemed like a low quality steak. I couldn't eat it. I probably ate about a 1/4 of it. I also had a Ceasar Salas which was really good. But I had more croutons than salad. I picked them all out and left them on the side of the plate.I will probably visit this place again, but not for the food.I left still feeling hungry. On my way to McDonald's.
