“I came in to first waffle house experience in Georgia, the home of Waffle House. I was offered a seat anywhere. We chose a booth by the exterior and the waitress was eagerly ready to take our orders.
She was on top of our refills, anticipated our needs, and was very friendly.

We were traveling having left North Carolina headed back to Florida when we found this place. It will now be our regular stop when passing through. Bey (our waitress) was so friendly and sweet. She gave excellent service! The club sandwich is stacked high with fresh ingredients and served on perfectly toasted bread. Every bite is the perfect combo of crunch, flavor, and satisfaction. “Maybe I am being too purist, but the bagels are barely boiled, if at all. These are more bread doughnuts... though incredibly popular for a breakfast sandwich.
Flavor is fine, texture too, exceot for the outermost layer which should require some effort, and make things squish out from a 'sandwich.'
Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Fine coffee. This is a weak review, from only the one stop, not returning a few times to check on their consistency.“

It was only a short walk down from our hotel on the Bay Street side . Husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and I ordered their River Street Rambler. The Cathead biscuits are huge and taste good while still warm. The sausage on both of our selections were scant. You’d expect a patty or sliced link, however; what they used on both was sausage that is approx one tablespoon that is diced (like onion.) Expensive (over $30 for both) for what you get, possibly due to the touristy location. The biscuits themselves are good and for this reason, I would still recommend trying them out.“

“Found this place by accident on our way to Tybee. Not anything to look at as it is situated in a strip mall. Boy was this a great find!! From start to our finish breakfast was amazing and very reasonable. My boyfriend had the pancakes which were huge and delicious. I had the House omelette which was cooked to perfection along with hash browns as a side, and those were perfectly crispy, but not dried out. Would definitely Come back to this place again:)“

“The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars was the staff. I stopped in two times and both time it seems I was bothering them to get me items from the cases. I spent a lot of money and I felt like I was a bother. The second visit the person who waited on me was the manager and he barely spoke to me. \n\nBesides that, the pralines and gophers were divine! I also bought taffy for family back home and a caramel apple to enjoy when I get home!“

“On this particular day (9/15/24), it was the worst service we have ever here. Our server “Keke” was extremely slow and messed up my order by failing to give me my waffle 🧇 until I was finished with the rest of my All-Star Special . She did even start making the waffle until after both my wife had I had to ask her several times. Then when she finally brought me the waffle, she took my silverware. Definitely need to make sure we NEVER in her area again…..“

“Polite, pleasant staff, and a great cook! They operate like the Waffle House you’ve always loved. Sometimes you just want WH at 1 am and since Covid has died down I’ve seen so many shut down or staff that sits around and doesn’t want to work / make money. Servers make money from tips so I don’t know how all these locations from Hilton Head to Hinesville aren’t allowing service at night. Cusps to this WH Crew, they rock!“
