My husband and I had a very nice lunch here at Watermelon Creek. The food was great (I had the salad sampler), portions nice, owners were pleasant. We took a walk around the lake after eating! Great afternoon. We will return! Must make reservations!

Nope! Don’t bother. We had a wine tasting and dinner here. The wine tasting was interactive, informative and the wines were good. However, the overall value for the experience as a whole was poor. My husband had shrimp and grits and I had fish tacos. The shrimp and grits featured about five popcorn shrimp and loads of salt. My fish tacos were equally over salted and less than memorable. The carrot cake was obviously mass produced in some company’s commercial kitchen and served cold.I want my money and time spent here back!

We drove for more than an hour to enjoy this place. When we arrived the owner of the place called us illegal immigrants. We’ve never experienced racism. Extremely disgraceful.

The food, the wine, the service, and the jelly never disappoint! It's definitely my favorite restaurant in Tattnall Co.

Drove an hour to visit this winery. The moment we walked in the man working there called us an illegal immigrant. He then said he was going to report us to the cops for being illegals immigrants. Disappointing.

Over the past year and a half we have traveled this route between Baxley Ga and Beaufort sc many times. We noticed how beautiful the property was but never stopped. Deborah and Charles were the best host. They had such a wonderful story of how God had led them to this place at this time. The education on wine alone was a huge investment in time. We shared our boating experiences in the Lowcountry. Them with their dream house on the river and how they sold everything to start and run the winery. We had a tasting and purchased 3 bottles.Great job guys. We wish we would have had more time. I believe we would become life long friends. And thats how you run a business.Until next time. Bravo

Food was great, wine was fantastic, Charles was a rockstar, and Deborah’s hospitality was best around! The story behind the vineyard and winery is cherry on top to this excellent establishment. The wine tasting is a must! Highly recommend checking it out - we will be back.

Yes this is a very beautiful venue, but unfortunately that is the only thing nice I can say about this place. The ownerS WAS Very Very rude and are hard to deal with it. They almost ruined my sister WEDDING, and for that reason I can not and WILL NOT recommend this venue for any of my family and friends further events big or small.

Came for a birthday wine tasting, and we’re very disappointed. They husband and wife were very rude and felt very rushed. We had to stand up during wine tasting, never seen that before. Would not recommend. Bad experience.

We came an hour before closing so were unable to eat. The owners were very accommodating and gave us a tasting. Every wine we tasted was excellent. We will definitely return for a longer visit.
Nice quiet place to sit and enjoy a good meal and drink. Owners are very knowledgeable about the geographical history and process of distillery.

The best little hidden place around! Everyone must go there at least once. You have to call to make reservations for a tasting and/or a meal. Deborah will text you the menu and you reply with your order. Show up 10 minutes prior to your tasting. We love all their wine and food. The grounds are stunning as well!!

This is such a fun experience. Charles, Deborah, and the rest of their crew deserve ten stars. The wine tasting was great, the food was impeccable, and atmosphere was so cool. It’s a fun way to spend a “chill” Saturday afternoon. The desserts were topnotch - especially the brookie with Nutella ice cream. We can’t wait to go back.
