If you’re in the mood for attitude, confusion, and a side of “why did I even bother,” then by all means, visit the Krystal in Gray, Georgia. I pulled into the drive-thru hoping to grab a simple sackful of Krystals for my family — you know, a basic, well-known menu item — and instead I got an experience that felt like I’d interrupted the staff’s nap time.
After sitting at the intercom for a solid four to 5 minutes (apparently the warm-up period before they acknowledge customers), a young man finally answered… and wow, I had no idea ordering food required a degree in Krystal Menu Studies. I guess the “Sackful of Krystals” is now a top-secret item, because he acted absolutely offended that I didn’t understand whatever handwritten sign they taped above the menu that said “Steamers.” My mistake for not being a menu archaeologist.
The employee was rude, dismissive, and seemed genuinely annoyed that I had the audacity to, you know, try to buy food. I’m baffled that customer service like this is considered acceptable. I am new to Gray — this town has some of the nicest people around, everyone is so sweet and kind. But this location? Completely different universe.
This was actually my second attempt to give them a chance, and once again, I left without ordering. Honestly, I’m starting to think leaving hungry is part of the Krystal experience here.
If you value your time, money, or basic human respect, do yourself a favor and avoid this place until they figure out what “customer service” means. New management, new training — something. Anything.
Until then, I’ll continue getting my food elsewhere… where ordering a hamburger doesn’t require a debate at the drive-thru.

The service was slow. The white lady manager was rude and the food was not good. And that whole pork slider was gross, and the hot dogs were gross, everything was just bad. It was a very bad experience.I would never go back to this one again

I was the only person in there and it still took 20 minutes for me to get my food. the food was very good it's hard to beat Krystal . Manager all she did was stand there on her telephone
