I drove almost 2 hours to eat at this restaurant for lunch and they had closed for business a month earlier but couldn't be bothered to update their website or at least remove it

The food is DELICIOUS. We had the fried fish and shrimp, the pulled pork, and a hamburger and all of it was excellent. I love their seasoning and breading. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. Highly recommend.

What a great find. We had our group of adult siblings, 7 in all, which there really isn’t space for inside, so we opted for a shady picnic table outside. Great ribs, okra, catfish and mac &cheese! The folks were friendly and helpful and the portions generous. Very good!

My family ate here today and we were all very pleased with our delicious food! Ribs and catfish were both excellent. Sides were very good and very generous. Very reasonably priced. The owners/staff were charming and friendly and eager to please in the nicest of ways. We will definitely be back!

5 minutes off the interstate — don’t miss this spot. Smoked pulled pork, fried okra, mac n cheese are all fire. Everyone else eating had other things too, I’m guessing the entire menu is amazing. Tea and lemonade great too. If I lived in town, I’d be here all the time; almost mad I’m only passing through.

We had the best meal at Family Ties BBQ! The brisket was expertly smoked with the right amount of smoke and spices. It was tender and flavorful. Their sauce is a beautiful balance between vinegar and sweet. The wings both lemon pepper and sweet Thai were delicious left us wanting more! The fried okra was top 4 best we’ve had. Everything about Family Ties is a lovely little spot in downtown Greensboro where you feel like family and the food reflects a pride in serving amazing food with smile and love for others. It’s a must if you love small town businesses and love supporting families! Thank you for making Father’s Day’s lunch memorable and delish. 🤩

very good food and friendly service

We had our dog with us and we were happy they had outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas. The bbq was fabulous as were the baked beans and Mac and cheese. The slaw was good. I loved that they had corn muffins too! And the staff was super friendly. We will be back!

We have a really nice experience today we stop by for lunch and have the must delicious pullpork and potato salad and baked beans, we also step outside because we have pets and the owner was really concerned because the mosquitoes were biting us outside ,thanks so much for your delicious food and caring about your costumers.
