The food was not good. The chicken over cooked and over seasoned. You could tell the vegetables were from cans, the mashed potatoes were instant. It just was not good , edible but not good. The service was great, but the food leaves a lot to be desired.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but this place was really bad. No taste, no flavor, no seasoning.

Loud but service and food are ok. Seems everything is unseasonably these days but they provide salt and such. Good Ole country food.

Good home country cooking. Dinner was delicious. We went about an hour before closing and they were still bringing out fresh food. That impressed me.

There are two handicapped parking spaces and around 20 free parking spaces. The building is in excellent shape and well organized. The employees are friendly and helpful with the food selection at this restaurant. The food is charged by the pound. There is room for around 40-50 people to dine in the resturant. Overall, I was quite happy with my food purchase and the price was right. For 2 people it cost around $25.00. This restaurant gives a veteran discount.

As a newcomer to Griffin, I often listen to the locals’ recommendations for restaurants. That has been a good idea until I tried this place. I can almost feel my arteries hardening from the fat-laden fare. The fried chicken, two kinds of fried fish, hush puppies and other foods were too greasy. The heavily-salted green beans and other vegetables were over cooked. My fellow senior citizen diners definitely got their money’s worth, but quantity does not trump quality.
