“I'm 63 years old, and I've eaten at a lot of waffle houses through the years. But I must say by far, this is the best tasting waffle house food I have ever had. I don't care what you say. Now I feel bad for not tipping. I always, always, always tip servers. This was the first time I didn't. But when the young man told me there was no military discount for to go orders, I discreetly became disappointed with this location being right at Fort Gordon's Gate. But when I got home and devoured the feast, I felt like an a#$%ho$le. My impatience in not trying the product before becoming disappointed. This waffle house location rocks. I will definitely try to correct my dumb mistake in not tipping during my next visit. Management has this team real winners. 4/20/2024 11:15 am. Please forgive me.“

“We went on a Sunday before going to watch the new Dune sequel at noon so it was absolutely jam-packed with the after church crowd, which is to be expected of course. Not only were they super efficient at getting everyone to a table as quickly as possible, but they had someone acting as a hostess and keeping everything organized and running smoothly, even though when we first got there it was literally standing room only. The food is always awesome at this waffle but my waitress was the real star. She was one of the best waitresses I've had, no kidding. I wish I could remember her name but she was so quick but never seemed rushed or overwhelmed and had the most graceful, easy way about her. She also went out of her way for us more than once without blinking an eye, even in the midst of that packed Sunday morning crowd. It was last Sunday that we went, so the 17th of March and she was probably in her early 20s or 30s? Hard to guess because her skin was the most beautiful flawless caramel color and it made her look young, but her grace made her seem older! I only mentioned these details in hopes that maybe their manager will see this and give her a raise or something I was compelled to tip her 30 something dollars on a 20 something dollar tab she was honestly such a sweetheart!“

“WAY BETTER THAN WAFFLE HOUSE OR IHOP, This restaurant doesn’t get enough appreciation. Everytime I come here it was always a blessing and a great time being there, recently when I came here, there was this really nice waitress named Lauren who’s extremely kind and courage and just a really sweet lady. The food is really solid and great as always, the people working there are really nice and really cool, the music that was playing is so solid, and the place is just reminds me of the time in the 50s where people used the diner as a hangout area to eat and just hangout after school. DEFINITELY A RECOMMEND! Great Staff, Great Food, and we really really REALLY need more waitresses attitudes like Mrs Lauren cause she is just so sweet and so kind, Lauren if you’re reading this Thank You For Your Kind Attitude & Lighting Up My Morning Mood!
