Mostly drive-thru service but there are a couple of small tables. The chicken fingers are good but on the small side. I had 6 for dinner and could of had more. Fries are good but didn't travel well. Coleslaw is good, I would get it again. The Texas toast is good but not hot. I will definitely try it again, the sauce is great I would recommend getting extra fir fry dipping. Thank you Guthries for hiring such good staff. The drive thru attendant was great. Happy, friendly and attentive. Over all I definitely would recommend.

Stopped in this evening. First time at this location and I was very pleased with the box! I frequently ate at the one that was in Athens in early 90s. Y'all still got it going on! Customer service was good too. I was greeted and felt welcomed in the drive thru. Thanks for a good experience!

Terrible service at the Fairhope Alabama location. Waited 10 minutes in the drive though (I was the only car) only to be shorted all the ranch I asked for (the main reason I went there in the first place). Then had to drive all the way back to get what i ordered. Nearkg an hour total i will spend on this meal. I was also told I couldn’t put the shredded cheese that comes on the sandwich on my fries as well. What? Whatever. You need employees that actually pay attention and care. Will not be back, I don’t care how good the ranch is.

We were helped my Josh and his team! They all did amazing super friendly super kind best service I’ve had in the tristate went above and beyond not only for me and my party but others dinning in! They all work so hard and deserve every bit of recognition. May our good Lord and savior Jesus bless each of them amen and the establishment of Guthrie felt as if I was eating my grandmothers cooking delicious food and sauces no complaints 1000/1000 better than Slim chickens. If I may request please add fried pickles! 🙏🏽 ✝️❤️

It’s about an hour drive for me , but so worth it ! I enjoy the drive to get the most amazing chicken tenders , fries and the original bread with that famous Guthrie sauce ! A short drive to lake hartwell or the dam, and enjoy the wonderful food with a beautiful scenery! This location has such a friendly staff ! I can’t wait for my next visit! Look forward to seeing a location in Athens Ga, so I can eat it more often!

Ok, we just moved to Hartwell, and we have decided to try Guthrie's. I was told by a few people that they have the best chicken fingers. We, my husband and I, went to get some food. i think it was The Big G combo. Idk my husband ordered it. We wanted to go in to see what it was like, and the door was locked. The front closes at 7pm, now that was the ONLY thing that was wrong. So, 6 tenders, OMG, the chicken, was absolutely the best. It was cooked just right. Juicy and crispy all together. The fries were crinkle cut and were salted perfectly, the bread was awesome, and it came with a drink. So the drink, SWEET TEA! Southern style sweet tea with crunchy ice! It was amazing. Guthrie sauce was good, too. Definitely will be back.

If you have not tried Guthrie's Chicken in Barboursville, RUN!!! It is some of the best tenders I’ve ever had!! I would pick them over Cane’s or CF any day! The staff are efficient and so nice and it’s extremely clean inside!! I got the 3 piece! We can’t wait to go back!!!
